I am of the belief that the main characters in XIII are all expies of the main characters of XII.

 

Lightning, though she is a female Cloud, is the female lead, thus she is Ashe.

Hope and Vanille, as the youngest members, are examples of the role Vaan and Penelo should have had.

Snow, being the tough guy, shall be Basch.

Since Sazh is apparently the Ensemble Darkhorse with a gun, he is Balthier.

Fang, being the only remaining person and an older female, is Fran.

I joined for both, since I loved RPs back then. Also, don't really care for XIII, enjoy it all you like I suppose, makes no difference to me, just that I can find out what's happening in this club by only checking back one page.

=/ I know Lightning has apparently been said to be like a female Cloud, but really now, they aren't the least bit similar. Appearance-wise, yeah. But as far as personality goes, if you want me to believe Cloud is similar to Lightning, then you need to tell me what drugs you were smoking when you played FFVII.

Roxas, similar character roles does not an expy make.

 

An expy, as defined by TVTropes (which you should REALLY stop reading all the time >.>;;) is basically a throwback, someone from a previous series who is basically being reincarnated into a new medium. Seth MacFarlene does this a lot. Look at the cast of his three shows.

 

Just because Lightning is a lead female doesn't make her an expy of Ashe. =/ Again, the two have similar traits, but they aren't similar enough to be expy-class. Also, calling Snow a Basche expy due to being a "tough guy"...well, yeah, no. xD They have nothing in common. Neither do Balthier and Sazh. Fang, from what I can tell so far, may have something in common with Fran, but eh.

 

And yeah, Hope and Vanille are the young characters, but their personalities are nothing alike to their alleged predecessors as you label em~

 

So yeah, occupying the same role doesn't make you an expy. If it did, then every lead female would be an expy of Maria from FFII. And we all know that ain't happening.

I haven't used it in large quanities but it makes angel hair taste a bit saltier and stuff.

 

But if you don't like it sauce hids the change.

 

And it makes it fast, like once you boil the water it stays boiled when you add water and after a minitue it's done.
