Build a bear is not that bad, but it's for little kids.

 

It's easy to make emotional ties to something you made yourself.

 

Plus teddy bears are so soft and huggable.

 

I have a humanoid plushie (my dolly) from when I was a kid. And I still go to bed with it.

 

I can do just fine without it, but one time I was trying to go to bed and couldn't (and it was 2 am) so I took them out to help me sleep and got paranoid that I'd resuffer insomia without them.

 

The best part is that one is armless, one is missing a arm and has towel stuffed in him to help patch up a gaping wound he used to have, and the third is emancipitated.

When I was little I had a huge stuffed anaconda at my bedpost to devour any monsters that got near my bed. I never really got around to putting it off.

Nexev, that doll kind of sort of scares me o-o

I've never liked dolls, from the moment born. I always loved teddy bears and a stuffed dolphin that I got when I was four years old.

 

But I always like guys who sleep with their stuffed animals/dolls from when they were younger =D

Come to think of it, in one time in my childhood I was always afraid of turning my back on anywhere because I was scared that zombie elves would sneak up behind me and devour my anus.

I can't understand why. It's so soft and cute. It's not like the creepy dolls with the plastic faces. It's more of a human shaped teddy.

 

IT looks like it would never judge you, never hurt you, and understands all that there is too you and takes it all with a smile.

I still have the stuffed Bear I was given when I was a baby. He's roughly as tall as the length from my shoulder to my wrist, and is brown and fluffy. Sometimes, i use him as a pillow, because he has a nice, broad belly. =D
