The game was in fact a Shadow Game, but a different version. The object of the game was for the brave king to find the 6 Elemental Poles, the only problem is he had 1 year to find them. Those poles held what we know today as Elemental Magic. He searched long and far and eventually the brave king suceeded in finding all 6 poles. Can you guess who the brave king was? It was me! I just remember him swinging his chainblades around with great style. He hasn't tried to make amends for killing his family, has he? I remember him saying he was sorry when Gaia took the form of his wife, so at least it wasn't cold-hearted. Wasn't Zeus the one who had him kill his family? The original GoW was to send Kratos on the path for redemption. GoW II was about reclaiming god-hood and taking revenge against those who seek to see him fail. Never had the luxury of playing CoO.
