Rainbow Dark Dragon

Clustering hopes diminish as a Dark Rainbow streaks across the foreboding sky...

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 7 DARK monsters with different names from your Graveyard. You can remove from play all other DARK monsters you control and from your Graveyard to have this card gain 500 ATK for each card removed.

I wonder if this ever ended a game...

hard to use IMO

Thats cause its terribad and should never be used' date=' period.

Even if it wasn't "remove" the 7, it'd still be pretty mediocore.

That's why at one time it was a top deck... or atleast a top tier 2 deck. RDDT could OTK consistently if I remember correctly. Then again, I wasn't around in it's time.

It is easy, Reasoning and Monster Gate were abused in the deck with lvl 8 nomi/semi-nomi monsters as to fill the grave. Once the grave is filled, you clear the field and ATK for game, usually through Demise by PoC. Seems inconsistent, but I'm just giving the basic principle, I'm certain it was done skillfully. This was back when DMoC, Dimensional Fusion, and RftDD (Unlimited/Semi'ed) was around, so I assume that had something to do with it.

You can use this card to replace Overload Fusion in the Chimeratech OTK...

No' date=' you can't, most cards used for Chimeratech OTK are LIGHT.

Let me see... 1 Future Fusion, 1 Cyber Dragon, a lot of machine-type cards that don't require to be of a specific attribute.

Make the deck, then I'll see how that acutally makes a good deck.

Of all the "Dark" monsters this is one of the few that isn't broken.

Really, the vast majority of the Dark Counterpart series aren't broken. Given that this is clearly designed for the purposes of producing OTK's and doing little else, I would actually say that this is more borderline than the average Dark Counterpart.

Lets see...

We run 3 of these..

3 magical merchants...

around 5 or less S/Ts...

Rest being effective DARKs...

All adding up to 40...

Now, we get Magical Merchant, set, get it to mill until you get a S/T and hopefully have 14 Darks. Summon 2 of these. Activate DDR. Win?

I could try this on wc09...

Oh, though it's terrible, it's an XL.( for those who don't know, their a group of monsters I made up with huge Summoning conditions but with huge effects, thus the name.)
