This thing had potential at one time for Light Burn to be a viable deck outside of just the FTK with it found...then everyone realized how lame the actual way it was worded was.

Fairy Archer's effect does not have a "Once per turn" clause on it, but there was a clause that said "You can only use the effect of 'Fairy Archer' once per turn". It was believed that as long as Fairy Archer's name was changed (using Hero Mask), it could use its effect as many times as it wanted per turn, because its name wasn't "Fairy Archer" anymore.

 

At least that's how I remember it from the last topic about this card. BKSS rulings fixed that real quick.

I have yet to see these rulings, and I question their validity. If its name is changed by an effect, then it would no longer recognize its name and would not apply that effect. What exactly does BKSS say to change that?

I'm fairly sure that said ruling says something along the lines of "The effect may only be used once per turn with the new name" or something.

Also' date=' Konami issued an official ruling on the matter. So, unless the TCG screws it up (which it could), the case is closed.
