POT OF GREEDEROSITY

Look at the top 3 cards of your Deck. Select 1 of them, and add it to your hand, and return the rest to your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Greederosity" and you cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this card.

Huh...now that card...is interesting. It's got some nice search power in it, although limited to the top three cards of the deck. The restriction of one per turn is expected, and the limit on Special Summon is to prevent it from being broken by you selecting a card that'll let you go nuts and Special Summon like mad with your opponent helpless to stop you.

It has potential, but whether it'll see play is another matter entirely. Gold Sarcophagus is a bit better for the "grab a card" feature and this card would make that more of a gamble with some steep prices. Exodia DOES love this card, though.

To everyone saying it's broken: How?

Only able to activate one a turn and cutting off Special Summons for a turn to pick one of your next 3 cards to add to your hand is not exactly what I would call broken at all. It's a good card yes but it's far too balanced to be called anything even remotely similar to broken.

Agreed. It would only be broken if they removed the restrictions.

Exactly' date=' the restrictions stop it from being completely splashable like some people are thinking it is. Getting your choice of 1 card for sealing your special summons for a turn isn't worth it in plenty of decks, Lightsworn for example. Have fun adding JD to your hand and having to wait to use him or have fun milling your Wulf during the turn and not be able to use it. Blackwing can't do any Vayu nonsense or any of their come from nowhere swarm they love so much. GBs...well they can't tag the turn they use this.

Yeah....it's not broken guys <_<[hr']

I believe we were referring to Exodia. This is no staple for every deck.

Outside of Traditional, Exodia is still too inconsistent. It's getting better but still not something to worry about.

How is a limit to the number you use matter? If you only have one in your hand their is no point in caring about how yuo can't use another. And even if you did have another waiting one whole turn isn't going to kill you. And sure it does suck that you can't special summon, but if you weren't planning on doing so it doesn't matter. Also the really simple fact is that it makes the deck go from 40 cards down to 37 when one runs 3 of these.

FOR REFERENCE

x5 Exodia Set

x3 Nihilistic Purgatory

x3 Upstart Goblin

x3 This

That's 14 cards I can think up off the top of my head. JUST A FEW MORE TO GO.

Don't forget Reckless Greed x3.

We're talking FTK here.

You play only one or 2 of this in an FTK deck, and you don't even play it at all in the best FTK deck of next format at all.

Its very splashable but isn't likely to cause FTK decks to run rampant. I can see myself running 2 of this in lightsworn.
