This is obviously a very powerful card, but what precisely can it be used for that makes it one of "those cards" that will never, ever leave the list?

You can suicide a monster, Tribute a monster, or destroy your monster with a card effect, or have your opponent destroy your monster, then get a monster which could have a plethora of different effects. Imagine suiciding something like a Sangan, then getting to add a monster to your hand and bringing out a D.D. Warrior Lady to clean up the mess.

 

Stuff such as that.

Rescue Cat. Summon 2 Milus Radiant. Activate this. Summon another Rescue Cat. Search another Miley Radiant and something big like Des Wombat or Airbellum. Attack for game...

Back when Yugioh first started, I couldn't see the power in this card. I was so focused that a monster could only go to the Graveyard by battle (i didn't even consider tributing, or my own card effects, not that there were many that i could think of *lol Two Pronged Attack*), so I always thought it was useless because it couldn't be used on an opponent's turn where it would be normal for one of my monsters to be sent from the field to the Graveyard.

 

I guess over time, it began to be a more and more broken card x.o I just find it silly how I overlooked it so much before.

Just goes to show how some cards weren't broken at first, but now are absurdly broken. Then there are cards that were broken or very powerful when released and now are jokes.

Just goes to show how some cards weren't broken at first, but now are absurdly broken. Then there are cards that were broken or very powerful when released and now are jokes.

 

One instance of a card that wasn't broken at first but is now absurdly broken is Shapesnatch. Another is Larvae Moth.

This was broken from when it was released. i ran this @3 until they got rid of it. its too good not to.

and anything i recall that was broken is still broken....i can't think of any joke card that has been like that.

This was broken from when it was released. i ran this @3 until they got rid of it. its too good not to.

and anything i recall that was broken is still broken....i can't think of any joke card that has been like that.

 

so it was broken from the very start of the game? since it orginaly came from starter deck yugi, which came out at the start of the entire game.

 

it wasn't broken back then because of the fact that 1500 wasn't all that big (since 1700 was the old 2100), and effect monsters were still a joke since most of the time, their effects weren't that good/flip effects, and were attached to low ATK monsters. (and would still be for about 3 packs, not that it was that long, the first few packs came out very quickly.)

 

it's only advanatge back then was to use multiples at once to swarm the field, and back then we had raigeki and black hole at 3 each.

god, back then, sp. summons were llike once in a blue moon and couldn't summon much of anything. now look where we are.

I know, looking back at it now, but remeber, that was 10 years ago now, most of us were not as smart about it as we are now, plus, if you were old enough to be that smart, and your still playing, what does that make you, 25?

Honestly, i dont want to know how much money i've spent on this game.

But that money has only been spent recently. Originally, i would trade for cards, parents wouldnt let me buy them..
