Look at last part of the effect. If this card would be released IRL (what will never happen), it's effect would be worded like:

Well, if I recall, the context of this card's effects in the anime were specifically rewritten to be so absurdly broken it would give the user an overwhelming advantage. And it worked, except for a loophole of "I can't send half of 1 card to the graveyard".

Wouldn't this only work for one turn at max? I mean if the opponent has an odd number of cards in their deck then they couldn't send half of their deck to the grave.

 

Meh, not counting that this is so very broken it isn't even funny.

I assume the "half your deck" is rounded DOWN, so if you have 3 cards, you send 1, and if you have 1, your send 0, meaning no cost was paid. Otherwise, Yugi's "I only have one card, so no dice" loophole wouldn't work.

just realized that. the episode it was in was wierd

All you need to do is activate a field spell. It would replace it not destroy it and your good to go.

I'm pretty sure The Seal of Orichalcos is more broken. This card wins you a duel, but that card wins you a soul.
