I had my own noob moment recently... playing frog monarchs I stalled for turn after turn by summoning 2x treeborn per turn... only the day after did I suddenly realize that their effects only allow one to be summoned per turn.

I would say the noob is the opponent for not realizing this for those turns allowing you to stall like that.

I don't see so many noobs where I play. Here YGO is an activity for adults that take it seriously. But there are rare ocassions in wich I had to deal with people doing it wrong...

There was this guy using a structure deck. He plays Premature. I told him it's banned. After consulting with all the other people around, he believes me and takes it out of his deck. Next week I play against him again. He used premature again...

I played this kid who used Skilless Zombie World. He attacked directly with Mezuki and then tried to remove it from play to summon Goku'en from the graveyard and attack with it.

This other guy tried to activate Zombie Master when there were no cards in his graveyard. He said that, as the discard was a monster card, there was a monster at the graveyard when ZM resolves, so he can activate it. I tell him he cannot do that, but I let him continue.

And then when I play Breaker they always say it isn't fair because it's a LV4 monster that can destroy their cards upon Summoning. That kid really needs to leave the anime rules and the common thought "old Yugioh era cards are not broken" and start getting into the game more seriously.

ONTOPIC: I really dislike how the Lightsworn deck plays. I think losing your deck is just stupid. A lot of things can go bad. That doesn't mean I don't think they're tier nor that I do not know the value of their cards: I am no noob.

 

I just prefer consistency above speed.
