Dr. Cakey
The face looks kinda weird. But does this or does this not make Pure Koa'ki Meirus FRIGGING AWESOME? And then you can get Iron Care back with Parallel Select.
CrabHelmet
It requires you to discard a Core Etcetera monster each turn, not to just reveal it - there's no way of avoiding a -1 each End Phase with this. The +1 effect each Main Phase is nice, but considering how expensive this card is to upkeep even if you are running the already-inconsistent deck needed to use it at all, I'm not terribly impressed. Canadian
Pure Iron Core decks flat out fail. [/thread]. They just revolve around such an aweful, aweful card. I would have liked it's effect used on something else however. The saddest part is that it isn't even techable into decks like most Core monsters are. CrabHelmet
You can sent the Core and then returnt it to your hand in the Draw Phase D: At the expense of a draw. And assuming you have a Core in your Graveyard after removing from play the first one for the Summoning Condition. All that does is turn all your draws into Smashing Grounds and Normal Spell Mystical Space Typhoons. That's not terribly impressive.

You know, All of the Iron Core's could have been improved 500% if Core could be added to your hand but not take up your draw. Than they wouldn't require this non-existant draw power Card. Canadian
Than I suppose we are going to wait for some immaginary draw power card aren't we? Which I doubt we'll ever get.

Canadian
Make it continuous, and once per turn. Than sure.
BulletMan
Compression in my tests (Yes, I tested PURE koa's, and they did better than expected, but they're only around tier 3 if done right.) was meh at best. Even the -1 Hand Destruction was better, but that got rid of dead draws. :/ Maximus, I use him for the Trade In engine more than Summoning him, but he's there when I need him. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Boss Monster, the Predator, had so much potential, but it was ruined by it's upkeep. It is not worth it's awesome artwork.
Dr. Cakey
I just want to throw out that you don't have to skip your draw - you can discard a Koa'ki Meiru instead. There must be some way to use this guy properly...Prototype can help a bit, but still. Can we at least agree he's better than Valafar?

I was thinking that too, but, it would be the same to just discard 1 Koa'ki in the End Phase
Azuh
Rather just use Rooklord IMO until Koaki's get some decent Core support
Dark_Armed_Zombie
My question is, what do you mean by "pure Koa'ki"? Do you mean Rock based or Beast-Warrior based? Because the Beast-Warrior base isn't too bad, especially since you can run Barboros to fuel the Trade-in engine. Maximus has never been a true boss monster, more of a tech to push for game. Can I haz decklist? As stated, this card could be used for Trade In. Plus Trade In and Core Compression are two cards so far to speed the Core Chimails up a bit. We need something first to negate the cost, THEN a draw engine.
