One of the most expensive Synchros in all time! Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!!

Recommended Posts

Why is so awesome? Pretty easy to see:

- Remove from field means that it eliminates any danger in the field, and gets past Stardust.

- Remove from hand just devastates your opponent's hand.

- Remove from grave means taking away an important key card that is just waiting to be used.

So... We have a possibly +2 monster that also removes from play a card in the grave, gets past Stardust and eliminates your possibilities while in your hand.

...Who wouldn't want this card?

The problem is' date=' it would be Limited soon due to the LV 9 Synchro OTK's along with Mist Wurm. One reason Infernities suck. It takes along good generics with them, when they go to hell.

That will happen because Konami does not know to weaken the consistency of Infernities and Frogs and others I haven't heard of that swarm this thing. 9 heads of removal is kinda broken, if you think about it, though...

Wow...a level 9 (like Mist Wurm) that gets rid of 3 cards (like Mist Wurm). Generic (Like Mist Wurm), and requires 2+ non-tuners (like Mist Wurm).

Darn, ran out of ways to add "(like Mist Wurm)". This card is awesome. Removes a card from hand, a card from the field, and a card from the grave. This is the greatest Synchro that just plain screws up your opponent's strategy and laughs in their face. Infernity can easily spam this (like Mist Wurm) with Archfiend, Necromancer, and Beetle and then OTK with it (like Mist Wurm).

The cardshop by my house has a Mist Wurm for 25$ :/

AT MOST, I will spend 20$ on a card, but thats only if I REALLY want it.

I'm sure by the time we get Trishula, we will have had at least 1 reprint of Mist Wurm.

Look, Trishula can easily gain a nice advantage over the opponent, but I prefer return-based effects. As in most cases, it turns them into dead draws and/or slows the opponent down.

Can you see your opponents hand with this?

lol, if only...

Yeah this is probably going to be about as expensive as JD was when it came out in LODT, but it is well worth it. I would prefer it to Mist Wurm depending on what the situation was. If my opponent had 1 monster and 2 backrow on the field, then Mist Wurm would be the obvious choice. But when they have that 1 horrible beatstick on the field (like Stardust or something) then I would choose Trishula.

Hand disruption is just a cherry on top of the fudge cake. There aren't really many good hand disruption cards apart from Firestorm Monarch and Trap Dustshoot.

Forgetting Airbellum? Anyways' date=' this is not the most expensive synchro ever:

I would like this, but Gottoms is easier to summon in my deck so I will get my hands on him first (a lot cheaper too). The only way to summon Trishula/Mist Wurm in my deck is Cherry Inmato+Inmato+Mystic Tomato which isn't the easiest thing to do. I need Armory Arm more than Trish and Gottoms more than Armory.

At least, in Japan, you'll be laughed at.

Dark End sells for 1500 Yen ($15), while Trishula is at 5000 ($50).
