It has pathetic stats and you have to Tribute it to summon 2 Level 3 or below Beasts from your deck, and then they die at the end of the turn, anyway. Almost all the "good" Beasts like that are Flip Effect monsters or really weak and this effect is just pointless because you have to keep this weak monster out for a turn or use Double Summon just to do something useful like Tribute them for something. Gyaku Gire is probably one of the better choices, but Ojama Trio's limited, so that won't help very much. The Ojamas are also good targets, and you could use some of the weak stat beasts that get effects when there's another Beast out or something, but it's just not worth using those cards anyway It's really only limited because of the deck thinning aspect. But what if another level 3 Beast-type Tuner gets made? Would you say ban it just to keep rescue cat?What about all the other Level 3 or lower Beast-type Tuners? Are they gone too? Or is it just X-Saber Airbellum because he's Level 3 and only Level 6 Synchros are problematic? Rescue cat seems to be almost always used for a quick Synchro or a quick combo rather than for anything truly skillful. Do you call a one-card Goyo Guardian playing skillful? How about one-card Brionac? How about one-card Naturia Beast?Rescue cat makes an easy Synchro, the other cards have to have partners. if you remove Rescue cat, they're okay, but Rescue cat still has many other cheap combos it can make with these two gone.
