Eibon1307
So here is wicked Rebirths effect: Pay 800 Life Points, select 1 Synchro Monster from your Graveyard, and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. Its effect is negated, and this turn it cannot declare an attack. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is destroyed, destroy this card. So, this brings up a discussion point of mine. I was watching a Duel tourney at a local gamestore and saw a match that was quite quizzical to those watching live. During the battle Player A had Road Warrior on the field and two face downs. (Mirror Force and Wicked Rebirth) In his hand was Turret Warrior. Player B ended his turn with no face downs, and one Defence monster, Wallshadow boosted with Horn of Light. (Its DEF being around 3800) Player A's LP was at 2100 and B's was 3000 even. Player A's turn comes back around and he draws a Scrap Iron Scarecrow and then uses Turret Warriors effect and tributes Road Warrior to Summon Turret Warrior. Turret Warrior gets to add Road Warriors ATK to it's own making it 4200. He then plays Wicked Rebirth and brings back Road Warrior. He then attacks with Turret Warrior and destroys B's Wallshadow. He sets Scrap Iron Scarecrow facedown and ends. Player B draws a Rod of Silence Kay-est and has 0 monsters in his hand. He ends. Player A Draws a Swords of Revealing Light and then attacks with Road Warrior to end the battle. After the battle Player B kicks and screams that A's move of tributing Road Warrior and then returning him with Wicked Rebirth was illegal and stated that Wicked Rebirth can only be used to bring back Synchros that are destroyed by battle, not tributed. He also states that Synchro monster cannot be summoned from the grave to the field. They can only be returned to the hand and then Synchro summoned again. I believe Player A's move was legal. What to you think? Disc.
ihop
Both players are terrible, but I believe the play was legal.
Eibon1307
How can you tell both players are terrible?
Fh-Fh
How can you tell both players are terrible? Wall Shadow. Being able to summon Wall Shadow. Horn of light. Scrap Iron Scarecrow. Road Warrior. Turret Warrior. EDIT: Play was legal because it doesn't specify condition of destruction for Resurrection of monster.

White Void
How can you tell both players are terrible? Player B is more questionable than terrible but Player A is pure terrible, Wall Shadow should never be in any deck whatsoever. Ever. He also apparently fails at basic reading comprehension if he can't figure out how Wicked Rebirth works. As long as the synchro was properly synchro summoned, Wicked Rebirth can special summon it no matter how it left the field. Doesn't change the fact Wicked Rebirth is a bad card though <_<

evilfusion
The move was legal. Wicked Rebirth does not specify method of destruction. It would have to say "Special Summon a Synchro monster that was destroyed in battle". And really...it's a card that SPECIFICALLY Special Summons a Synchro monster from the graveyard. How can B believe you can't do that? So long as the Synchro monster was properly Synchro Summoned, and unless it has an effect forbidding other types of Special Summons (Trident Dragion), it can be revived from the graveyard. And really, I thought B was much, much worse than A. Although I somehow doubt Road Warrior was summoned via Quickdraw, none of the cards he used are actually truly horrendous. Maybe not meta-level, but not so bad to label him worse than the guy running Wall Shadow and DEF boosting Equips who throws a fit when he loses and argues that a specifically legal move is illegal. byak
This is a simple matter of just reading a card.
Toffee.
Why is it that people cant read?Really, why?If it had said "can only be used on a monster that died via condition [X]", then that would have been printed on that card. Road Warrior is playable in Quickdraw MachinesIts so much fun <
