More like experimenting on how a world ruled by card games would react to stuff like that.Technically, they did do something like that.When the apparently-they-became-real Meklords came into existence, some guy cosplayed as Yusei in order to battle them with proton-cannon-mounted D-Wheel..........Except even that didn't turn out well, as it was only 1 guy doing that.
