byak Posted July 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 Weaker, but not necessarily worse.Don Zaloog is DARK, which means he's food for DaD and Sorc, not to mention he has extra searchability for his own deck (Meanae).Hat has Honest, and can work with Secret Pass to the Treasures (in his own dedicated deck). I can also see him possibly teched in LS. Works with Beckoning Light as well.Zaloog having more ATK than Hat isn't really too much of an issue, considering there aren't that many cards in the window between them (1000-1350, and most of them wouldn't stay on the field anyway). I mean, there are Gadgets, but still. Plus most of the time, you would be using Shrink/Honest/something with White Magical Hat. Basically, Don Zaloog is more splashable, but White Magical Hat works much better in his own deck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CrabHelmet Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 When you consider that you'll often be Shrinking to get these guys to run over things, Don Zaloog's extra 400 ATK becomes rather more impressive. White Magical Hat can't even run over a Shrunken Cyber Dragon, but Don Zaloog can run over a Shrunken anything with less than 2800 ATK. And Secret Pass to the Treasures is terrible.
