Solidarity

Again this art is better XP.

[spoiler=]3120.jpg

OT: Can be a good card if used in a deck that uses 1 Type of monsters, like my Tempest Burn, but it looses it's effectiveness once you Synchro for Brionac, Stardust, etc.

Actually... I like this illustration xD

Card is not THAT threatening but it is good.

@Dr Cakey:

Card is not the same. Not only because the boost is a little higher, but also you can't have 2+ Mystic Plasma Zones at a time.

Not to forget that the fact this card wasn't meant for a certain Type/Attribute-strategy, you can adjust it more easily into different Decks.

The thing is, as good as this card can be for single-type decks, it's not usually worth the deckspace unless you're running some sort of swarm/beatdown. I personally use this in my Disaster Dragon , a fun Fiend beatdown, and Machina Gadget decks because the ATK boost helps a great deal. Then again, Burden of the Mighty can do similarly.

I dont see this at anything less than 3. Although some decks can get a major boost, most decks that cause problems aren't single-type. Blackwings come to mind as being concern worthy, but they have better options.

There's still plenty of monster and S/T removal running about that this isn't really a threat compared to other cards, the same way equips aren't very dangerous.

So the people here that find this a card in any way problematic presumably also find Mystic Plasma Zone a strong card? Don't say "itz difrent bcuz it only works on atributes not tipez" because most Attributes have larger cardpools than individual Types. Additionally, it doesn't suddenly become dead when you Synchro Summon - at the cost of raising ATK by 300 less.

It all depends on where you draw the line with attack increases. If they create a 5000 attack level 4 Vanilla, are you just gonna go "LolVanilla" and dismiss it? The problem isn't so much "lolATK" but more of, what is the maximum amount of attack increases you can tolerate before it becomes problematic and deserves list attention?

On a completely unrelated note, Solidarity can stack, and Mystic Plasma Zone can not.

If not mistaken GOOD blackwingz runs Grepher, DAD...and in some cases Dark Creator making Solidarity not useful at all there....

But yeah...Solid Shouldn't be a problem at all....barely a minor thread...something to anoy....But I never seen this card as List worthy...

Deck dedication is already a good balancer.You're limited in your options if you run it, and you may as well not if you don't adhere to it.

The problem with deck dedication as a balancer though is that it doesn't always keep certain cards from being banworthy. Just look at Dark Armed Dragon. The Deck dedication required for that is a joke. Almost any Deck can run a few DARKs to run Dark Armed Dragon. Look at Judgment Dragon. The Deck dedication required for that is not enough to balance it. The fact you're forced to run a Lightsworn Deck just to be able to use it and well is not much of a balancer for it.

3 Solidarity out is +2400 ATK too which is rather excessive but when would one be able to get 3 Solidarity out consistently? Stacking could be a problem though and in that case one could Limit Solidarity instead of outright banning it so it can no longer stack. I think then the question to ask would be "would running monsters all of the same type be woth getting Level 4 or lower beatsticks with upwards of 2600 ATK?"
