Ririkun
So I want to make another deck but it requires another set of Thunder King Rai-Oh. I can get them easily, but would it beworth it to get another playset of them for around 35 dollars or should I just keep one playset and use proxys for the other deck? Just want to see other people's input on this since I'm always reluctant to get more than 3 but I really dislike having to use proxys.
Rhiannaers
Personally I'd go on an EPIC adventure to find more of a certain card. You should check around game shops/ebay for that card. Personally I find that I need more than one Kuriboh in my deck (Since I find it's effect to be more than a little helpful) so it's easy to trade for it. Ririkun
Haha, I would go on an epic adventure too if I needed more, but in my case, I don't have trouble getting Thunder King, as I already have 3 of them in one of my decks. I'm just deciding whether I should get more for another deck I'm planning to make or just proxy it for now and just take it out from my first deck if i want to go to a tournament. Rhiannaers
Than I guess the questions are also:What other cards are in that playset that would prove useful to you and would you really like to spend the money on it. Since I really don't know how long it takes to make a good proxy, I'd just spend the money on the playset and trade/sell the cards that I don't want. BehindTheMask
You can always have your decks in the same coloured cases, and just switch cards in decks.
Catterjune
If they're affordable. I don't like swapping out my Books of Moon or Smashing Grounds or whatever, and they're cheap. However, I can't afford to buy 3 or so Mirror Forces at this time (lol20dollars, lolreprintcomingup) so I'll just stick with one and sub in Sakuretsu Armor to remind me of what could have been. Sephiroth_The_Legend
depends on the card.for commons, ill just buy more... they'll always be useful. for expensive stuff, it depends how easily i can get more copies.....if i dont want it, it does make good trade bait... Psycho Shocker Android
I'd get 100 pot of duality if I could.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Depends. I'm not one to needlessly spend money buying more than 1 playset of a card when 1 will suffice. If a card is cheap or cheap enough then I could probably make an exception.
