It's incredibly simple, but for some reason it's one of my favorites, and I wanted an opinion. I don't think it's had one in a long time. [img]http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/7552/giraquaza.png[/img] Now that I look at it, it might look better with wings from a newer Giratina sprite. Platinum wasn't out when I made this. @Prometheus: Grumpig + Quagsire? Strange looking, but okay except in a few places. Mostly the legs. It doesn't connect as well as it should to the body, and with the feet, it goes from a thin ankle(?) to a large foot. Jappio Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 18, 2010 I know I throw this bit of critique around a lot Shradow, but that splice feels too much like a modified Rayquaza. Perhaps a change to it's anatomy somewhere might make it feel a little closer between the two Pokemon. The new wings might be a nice addition too. Also the gold pieces that curl around it's body, they don't seem to curl exactly right. They should be pointing towards the center of the body, but instead it looks like they are crossing over the center. So essentially have them not go in as far. Hard to exactly explain, but maybe you'll see what I mean. Spriting will make it's usual comeback soon. I'm not gonna change it, though, I like it, plus I'm gonna focus now on Kirby splices. ^.^ EDIT: Like this one. Luckily his little ball and the mace are the same circular shape, so I could transfer the spikes easily. Your shading and line art need serious work, and the details for the head are weird. But I do love what you were going for and would like to ask to give my version as a demonstration. Staraptor, Lucario, Zekrom, and some others. Those are the only ones I can remember. Here is another. Jappio Posted October 24, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 24, 2010 When my friend would hang out with me and I'd show him some of the sprites on this site, he would actually joke how some of the sprites were so bad that they had to be trolls and not actual people, because no one could sprite as bad as some as the sprites were here =P I sometimes tried to convince him that it's the work of kids between the ages of 8-12, but there have been some pretty awful sprites here.
