i am a slight bit skeptical about this card.

if you use it on your first turn, you can win the duel.

if you are running low on life, you don't use this card.

also, 20 turns is a long time!!! i wouldn't use this card in a deck.

You can say that about anything, and in many cases one's opinion can still be wrong. It's naive to hide behind that.

With something as objective as how good or bad Final Countdown is, it's pretty bad to say. You don't tech it - you run a deck centered around Final Countdown. This pretty much invalidates the view in your first post aside from that you would never run it - you would take 0 damage anyways.

i hate dusty/buster matchups when playing countdown, its like you may aswell scoop r1 and side in your crow and hope fo the best.

It could, but if it did, people would run lots of Royal Decree for the Stall Cards xD
Waboku, Threatening Roar, Thunder of Ruler, Frozen Soul (all to 3 each) = 12 less cards to depend on.

Good thing Zero Gardna, Battle Fader, [and maybe (just maybe) Teva and Cyber Valley] are still there.

BTW, does Mystical Rephpanel Works on it?

If it does, it'll be funny seeing a player activate 1 Countdown, have it reverted, then proceed to activate another one the same turn, and get to turn 20 xD

Most decks that is based heavy around Final Countdown uses three copies of it. Once you used one, the other two are dead cards. The only reason people have three Final Countdown in their deck is to draw it faster. In reality, you only need one Final Countdown.

I don't mind it when I get beaten up by an Ancinet Rome beast army, or when a black ax-dragon comes and chops me in half. That happens often.
But when I get stalled, I hate it. Especially this sort of win.

use pyro clock of destiny and mask of darkness if you worried about 20 turns but if you do just make sure you dont get spammed on and destroyed. LOL RUN SPATIAL COLLAPSE
