There will be three stations - Warning! Challenger Approaching!, World M and Cut-theme. Each one has it's own style - WCA is boss battle music, World M is Level or World Music and Cut-theme is cutscene music. You can only recommened 2 pieces and they must be in different stages. Each station will have 3 pieces of music in it, with 2 out of each station requested by you. I will personally choose 1 piece for each station. Reposting old tunes is allowed. [b]Warning! Challenger Approaching![/b] [spoiler=Best of the Best 1] [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHjciyJZIiA]Champion Gary [s]motherf[b][/b]uckin'[/s] Oak[/url] from Pokemon Red, Blue & Yellow Words really cannot how fantastic this theme is. Reminiscent of Grant Kirkhope (Gruntilda Battle?) due to the crazy arpeggios and staccato, except unlike Kirkhope's stuff this never lets up. It's absolutely relentless and it never stops ramming crazy melodies down your throat. You can really sense the tension and the anger in this theme, especially during the bit where it goes up chromatically. Gary Motherf[b][/b]ucking Oak deserves a theme this kick-ass.[/spoiler] [b]World M[/b] [spoiler=Best of the Best 1] [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EQImz7uK5k]The Mushroom Waltz[/url] from New Super Mario Bros. DS The reason I love this piece is simply for one reason - the mellow gameboys that start at 0:51. The made feel so nostalgic, so warm inside...it was truly beautiful and slightly touching that Nintendo but time and care into making it sound so nostalgic. A fantasticly catchy overworld theme.[/spoiler] [b]Cut-theme[/b] [spoiler=Best of the Best 1] [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYFs1-G58gM]Luma and the Hat[/url] from Super Mario Galaxy 2 After the intense rage of stuff like Gary [s]motherfu[b][/b]cking[/s] Oak's theme, it's wonderful to have something as soft and melancholy as this. I think the Oboe adds so much more emotion to this piece than the original twinkle-sounding lead did in the original, and that's no easy feat. This piece has the others instruments come in one by one, and like the Zelda Duet it exploits this wonderfully. All of the pieces in the Galaxy Suite have the remarkable ability to manipulate emotions so well and this piece is the best example of them all.
