What if the numbers were switched (you draw 2 then discard 3)? Would i still be on the banlist?

Draw 2 - Discard 1: So it becomes like Destiny Draw, for every single deck and with less of a specification? In a meta where plenty of cards thrive on either being sent to the grave or having the grave for resources? It's nothing but a slightly lesser version of Graceful Charity. It still has all of the problems Graceful Charity did, and even more because now more cards are added into the mix.

Draw 2 - Discard 3: Sounds like a boon to Infernity or Darkworld. I'm not so familiar with either, so I wouldn't know how much of a thing it would be for them.

Of course, over half the cards in the game crave the Graveyard and it's only going to get worse. And yes, a [i]"draw 2 & discard 1"[/i] could be abused in already powerful decks, but it would also add some general draw power to decks that have access to none. Maybe a [i]"Draw 2 cards, then send 1 card from your hand to your deck"[/i] effect? I actually got to play in Traditional Format (roughly 15 duels) and I loved using Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity again. My Harpie Deck has no draw power in Advanced.

draw 2 ditch 3 could only be really effective in decks that like -2's...
otherwise it's not that great.

draw 2 ditch 1 is overly generic draw that is bad for this game.

OT: Graceful Charity is difficult. In its current state, it's bannable, but any real attempts to try to mitigate its bannable features makes the card markedly less useable and useful.

but Graceful says discard, which allows Darkworld to use it somewhat, so its better than Hand D and doesn't rely on your
opponent.

but yeah, there's nothing you can really do to graceful to make it balanced yet playable.
