.Nu-13
Gravekeeper's Recruiter | *3 | DARK [Spellcaster/Effect] When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, add 1 Gravekeeper's monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand. ATK/1200 DEF/1500 Discuss
Anbu-of-Sand
GK Watcher GK Assailant GK Cannonholder GK Chief GK Commandmant GK Priestess GK Descendant GK Curse GK Spear Soldier GK Vassal GK Watcher Those are it's targets. It can't target Spy or Guard, which sucks, and majority of these cards aren't used soo....bleh. However, maybe if it was a Tuner and / or Special'd the monster instead.... Zkaiser
Think that Commandant is the best target for this card. It effectively gives Gravekeeper's nine Necrovalleys. Since it can't miss the timing it combos well with Descendant, Chief and Visionary. It turns Descendant and Chief into +1s and gives Visionary a GK in hand for protection. There is always synchroing to consider. This guy, Spy and some other GKs could make a pretty good Monarch engine.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
It's crap. If it can't get the best recruiter GK's have (Spy), it's not worth running.
evilfusion
Interesting card...but do Gravekeepers have space for this?

[/quote] Most likely not. Seeing it can't even search Spy / Guard, and majority of the rest of the Gravekeeper's it can search somewhat suck.... Sephiroth_The_Legend
the good targets that GK's run that it can search: Assailant Commandant Descendant Considering Assailant and Descendant are better searched through Spy.. it's only decent target is Commandant... hence it's not worth it. evilfusion
...so it's bad because it can search every Gravekeeper option in the deck except Spy, Visionary, and Guard? Spy can search everything but Commandant, Chief, and Visionary. If Gravekeepers use Sangan, I'd suggest putting this in unless they run Morphing Jar. Maybe my Solid Keepers might run this... Space is really hard to get in this deck...
Sephiroth_The_Legend
Commandant doesn't need searching and no good GK decks run Visionary or Chief.

Sephiroth_The_Legend
control using Necrovalley and destruction through Descendant. Spy acts as the main tutor while Guard offers support through it's bounce. they're conservative. they wait till they have what they need. then go for a big push. evilfusion
I see. I usual favor a Beatdown strategy using Assailant and Spear Solider (+Solidarity) or a fun Burn strategy that abuses Curse and Cannonholder. I don't think the latter's any good now that decks have gotten so fast, though. It's an old deck concept.
~British Soul~
if i run this (which i probably won't) i would just target the commandant, then i can get necrovalley out the next turn, itt, it's effect fits the cards name
Manjoume Thunder
It can't search neither spy nor Guard. It's s***.
Buttercup
I really really like it. It will be the nuts with Descendant in dedicated GK decks.
~British Soul~
i just realised it can't search guard or spy, OMG it's not gonna be as good as i hoped (more chance of me not running it)

Zkaiser
That's the first thing I realized. This card is really good. Not being able to search Spy or Guard doesn't mean that this card sucks.

evilfusion
I dont get why people say this is so horrible SOLELY because it can't search Spy or Guard. Those are good cards, I won't deny that, and I also know Gravekeeper decks have some issues with space. However, it's a Witch of the Black Forest for Gravekeepers, meaning it not only has the ability to search almost every Gravekeeper in the game BUT those two (and Visionary), it won't miss the timing, can be used for Tributes and Synchros, and the most important factor of all. IT HAS GRAVEKEEPER SUPPORT. You can spam its effect using things like Rite of Spirit or Chief (if you ran that). Even Tributing it for Visionary is awesome because then you get a Gravekeeper to your hand to use with Visionary's preservation effect. It gets boosted by Necrovalley. Its stats don't suck and still make it searchable. Its effect is much better than Priestess. It can search the unsearchable Commandant, which is a Gravekeeper Terraforming. Even if you wouldn't run it, it's hard to accept that it's "terrible" because it doesn't search two monsters in the entire deck. If people refuse to accept possibilities for a card on the notion it doesn't fit with how you personally run the deck, I'm surprised some powerful combos and decks ever got built, with the one-minded approach people have to how archetypes should be used.
