Catterjune
Eh, someone requested an official sticky thread for Tournament Reports (since there's an official thread for pulls and trades) and overall it sounds like a stupid as hell topic that would become horribly outdated as time goes on and a waste of a sticky when no one posts in it for 3 months. I thought it sounded like a terribad idea, but I figured that may be rather unfair if there was a quiet majority who actually did like Tourney Reprots, so I'll throw it over to you guys. Should we make an 'official' Tourney Reports sticky, or keep it as is, with people posting Tourney Reports whenever the hell they felt like it? And before you ask, Strategy will probably maybe definitely most likely not be turned into a Tourney Reports sub-section.
evilfusion
My opinion is I probably couldn't care less, but if it means less random topics with tournament reports that I won't read, then I'm not opposed.
Manjoume Thunder
Weren't you the one who once said to Chaos Pudding that he is a bad mod, because he can't control the section without a crapload of stickies? Besides, there are less than a single report per month so I don't think that they will flood the section.

Mehmani
Tourney Reports threads are fine, they normal only happen once in a while and we don't get too many of them at once. It's fine.
Manjoume Thunder
It might have been Crab or tea.leaf actually ... I can't really remember, but even if it wasn't you, I still agree with it. The less stickies needed, the better.

[/quote] Actually, I think the real issue would be if you have half a page of stickied topics, you have to scroll down half a page to see any non-stickied topics and even more topics will get booted to page 2. I don't know about you, but I almost never bounce over to the second page at all. Therefore, the less stickies, the more "new" topics can float on the first page and get seen. byak
Making a sticky thread sounds like a bad idea imo, a forum seems like a better idea (and DGz does this, btw) The thing is there aren't really that many reports, so another forum isn't recommended at the moment. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I am both opposed and for this. I usually miss out on tournament news and all of that stuff, and it would help to decrease the amount of topics posted and give room for other things to be discussed. However, if it's not going to be properly maintained it might as well not exist. Without it actually saying anything in the first post every time, it's pretty much pointless. Just Crouton
I don't play IRL and never will. Also, a stickied tourney thread would be usually dead. No rhyme intended. People don't post tourney reports that often.
Kaisu
Eh. Just an idea. But then again, not many people do post tourny reports. It was just off the top of my head.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
with an actual place to put reports, i'm sure people might be a little more inclined to write them up... but it might be easier to have people create a topic for their own reports, rather than flood a single topic.... when it comes down to it, i doubt it's really necessary...
