No. If it's hits a monster that cannot be Normal Summoned or Set, it continues until it finds a monster that can.

In the World Champ games, if it hits a monster with 'conditions', it just discards that monster and the effect stops

The "reasoning" for that- *shot*

Ahem. If the monster CAN be Normal Summoned, but cannot be Special Summoned, it is discarded and the effect stops. If the monster cannot be Normal Summoned, it is pitched and the effect continues (Dark Dreadroot vs Raviel).

Best used in Dark Gaia OTK decks, back when Dark Magician of Chaos was still around. I remember WC...08? 09...one of those, that was a huge Wifi deck, and a major pain, since it almost invariably won, despite all efforts to stop it.

It's was a Phoenix Blade build with Silent Swordsman LV5, Wildheart, and the lower-level other Swordsman (can't remember its name right now). It worked surprisingly well. I guess it could be rebuilt, but it wouldn't be the same.
