Elemental Heroes

They lack a monster that can treat itself as any Attribute for Generic Heroes. Kind of like an E-Hero version of Quickdraw for Generic Hero fusions.

No. You might as well run Homunculus if you're planning on doing that. I would hate to see them get something like that.

They need a couple more, useful Heroes that aren't Fusions. And maybe 1 or 2 better support spells/traps. Though most people probably wouldn't use them anyways.

I'm talking about this Jaden:

[spoiler=Long]

Jaden Yuki's Deck has gone through a myriad of changes throughout both the anime and manga versions of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. It is most famous for his "Elemental Hero" monsters, which fuse in various combination to create more powerful monsters.

He later acquires "Elemental Hero Neos", which becomes his signature card, and it is in fact a card of his own design. It can fuse with the "Neo-Spacian" monsters without the use of a "Polymerization" card.

His manga incarnation still uses "Elemental Heroes", though he does not generally use the same ones that his anime counterpart utilizes. He later begins using the "Masked Hero" series of cards in place of them.

Anime Season 1

During the first year, Jaden plays an Elemental Hero Deck, composed of Spell and Trap Cards that support them, as well as his spirit partner "Winged Kuriboh". His deck largely supports Fusion Summoning stronger Elemental Heroes, often using a colorful array of Spell Cards, which have additional effects besides the aforementioned effect, allowing great flexibility in strategies. All Elemental Heroes fuse in some combination, granting Jaden a myriad of different effects to take advantage of. Some of his spell and monster card combinations serve as back-up strategies. His strategies are always full of surprises and he always draws the right card when needed.

My point is that if they decided to try to break elemental heroes, they could go to tier 1 easily. Honestly, they should stay at tier 2, true some of their generic fusions are broken beyond repair, but they kinda needed that to be competitive. :3

The only generic E•Hero fusion I find broken is Absolute Zero. The other four are just fine. They do help break Future Fusion, however.

If a broken card is needed to make a deck competitive, then the deck deserves to die.

Elemental Hero Absolute Zero should have just had Fusion Material "1 E•Hero monster + 1 WATER monster" and should have had just its manga effect. The nuke effect broke Zero.

The Extra Deck limit was both the best and the worst thing that happened to Elemental heroes. On the bad note, it meant that you couldn't use 3x of every Elemental Hero fusion anymore. On the good note, it turned many people away from the Jaden n00b decks and players resorted to making the newer, more successful Elemental Hero decks, including Rat Heroes and Hero Beat.
