If you would take 1000 or more damage from a card effect, you can negate it.

According to the wiki, the effect is unconfirmed
So effectively this card, so far, makes as much sense as Des Koala, except its a Machine, and apparently "works" with its main boss monster.

That doesn't make sense. If Skiel Ein negates burn effects, why would it be used against Crow, who doesn't use Burn effects (often) and is recently mocked for using anti-burn?
Because you know Crow will just use some tardy continuous trap with this exact effect:
By skipping your Battle Phase, and only if you control at least 2 Blackwing-related cards, you can inflict 1000 damage to your Opponent.
Seriously, the anime has a thing agnest Crow, and all his duels now-a-days are just terrible.
Mostly because either all of his cards or the cards his opponent uses, are just stupid plot devices.

The character of Crow itself is a living plot device....>_<

remember how he became the fifth signer for apparently no reason?

And here I was thinking it was because the original 5th Signer was dead, and the Dark Signer that usurped his mark was unworthy of the birthmark, whereas another character on the protagonists' side had proved his worth.

The pointlessness is only in that being a "Signer" ceased to actually matter much past that season unless your name was "Yusei" or "Jack".

Plus, from what I gathered, this card is going to be used against Jack/Ruka/Rua.

Neither of them use burn effects much, either...

Maybe this card is mistranslated.

Seeing as its used agenst Jack, I have a feeling theres a random "Infinity Wave-Motion-Cannon" which does like 800 damage to 'all' players each turn.
Also, Jack tends to use a few random burn cards now-and-then.

Crow was an awesome character, until he beat Goodwin. Then his deck just became pathetic.

The "King of the Underworld" looks very similar to the 5th Dragon.
Funny stuff..

I don't really see how you can transfer a weird skin deformity/tattoo

The marks were only a gimmick to gather all the main characters together, AKA, like the first 10 episodes.

I don't see 1000 anywhere in the text.

This, and I believe the best duelist ever in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's was Aki, just because...you know.

Also, Arm is right, the Signer plot device just put the characters together, then just faded away, leaving the Power Tool Dragon's history unrevealed.

Either that or in the Aporia duel the ticking plot bomb inside rua goes off then revealing the 5th signer dragon and thus deafeating aporia/2nd mayjor important character.

Hint, Hint: Rua and Ruka vs Skiel duel where Rua was saved and Ruka felt something odd

do you mean the original 5th dragon (the one battling the EIs)
Yes as I think when Rua and Ruka battled against kid Aporia it looked like it was forshadowed that Rua would have something important to do later one which the orignal 5th may be it.

i just realised leo and luna (with jack) are going to duel Aporia soon - yet all of them battled skiel inf. - so this card's gonna be used i think
