Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Machine-Type monster from your hand. Inflict 100 damage to a player that doesn't control a Machine-Type monster during their End Phase.

Screw the last effect, it's plot device. First one, however... discuss
Also, what's up with all thos Field Spells in 5D's lately?

The second effect is like this:

Aki: Yusei!
Lua: Yusei!
Leo: Yusei!
Crow: Yusei!

*All characters start to worry*
Yusei: I DRAW HURRRRRRRRRR I SUMMON NEXUS DRAGON1!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL I WIN HURRRRRRRRRRR

*Obligatory explosion from the boss's body that destroys him*

The first effect has to be nerfed.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that Machines have awesome Field spells?
Play Geartown, set this card, you get Gadjiltron. Flip this card, use its effect to summon something like Mechanicalchaser(or what-ever, really)
Proceed to maindeck Minefieldriller.

But it's used in Aporia VS Leo, Luna and Jack

Obveiously its just Jack vs Aporia.
Lua is an idiot, same with Luca.
Lua is just trying to "defend" Luca because Luca holds the team back.
DAMIT JACK. YOU NEED TO BURNING SOUL FOR GAME.

Still, the "lol u lose 100 lp" part is just stupid.
At most, everyone just lost [s]The Game[/s] 400 lifepoints by the time its the controller's turn again.

The Field Spell really isn't a plot device beyond the fact it deals 100 damage per turn based on your deck type, and that's troublesome because of the whole "you die if you lose" thing going on.

All the anime field spells have been Burn/Lockdown in nature. Ecole de Zone prevented Synchros (by extension), direct attacks, and Monster support. Soul Binding Gate was Burn + Destructon. This is Burn + Summons, and Aporia is using a Burn/Lockdown deck.

Amusingly, it's more accurate to say it's really just Aporia vs Rua, because everyone else is getting their butts kicked (...blame Rua for Jack's case).

Aporia KNOWS Lua is the downfall of the team, and hes just "punishing" them for it.
Aporia needs to troll harder. Thats why he lost.

Off-topic: Believe in Nexus is meh. Road to Tomorrow has an awesome "heading to the final battle" feel to it. Also, the only reason Rua is the downfall of the team is because he runs Morphtronics, and I haven't even watched the episode.

On-topic: It's a bit situational, but the burn effect is ridiculously slow. Really, this card is only useful for the first effect.

I'm not going to unleash the powers of an Nexus addict here. But Morphtronics can OTK.

Road to Tomorrow is by the same guy as Believe in Nexus. You know that, right? Let's just agree that Masaaki Endoh is amazing and leave it at that.

I can believe that Morphtronics can OTK, but I was talking about the anime, which really downplays their effectiveness. Rua can survive the effect, but Jack and Ruka can't, and since Rua doesn't OTK with them in the anime, he can be taken down easily.

Considering the first effect, I'll say that this a card I'd like. Anyone who thinks this is useful with MCED deserves a slap in the face.
