Vylon Delta

Recommended Posts

NOTE: did anyone notice that Storm of Ragnarok would have support for Vylons/Vairons and when we had 9 of the 10 OCG exclusives the Vylon/Vairon support wasn't revealed yet. but now it has..... Vylon Delta

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner LIGHT monsters
If this card is in face-up Defense Position during your End Phase, you can add 1 Equip Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.

I'd rather run Power Tool Dragon, which can grab equips during the Main Phase and has a self-protection effect, plus is generic.

Not that this is terrible, I'm sure it works well with its theme, but I don't know much about the decktype to know whether there's a benefit to running this in place of Power Tool Dragon even in its decktype.

You can't usually compare monsters based solely on their stats when their effects work completely differently. Herald negates everything and this only searches an equip while in DEF during the End Phase. Herald has nothing in common with this EXCEPT the 2800 DEF. They're not even the same type of card (Ritual vs Synchro) or same level (6 vs 7).

I know.

I'm just saying I'd prefer summoning Herald than this.

In context, however, that doesn't make any sense. Herald of Perfection isn't some splashable card any deck can use. It needs its own decktype to work. Vylon Delta is a Synchro monster, goes in the Extra Deck, and only requires a LIGHT non-tuner. Therefore it is available to far more decktypes.

You're stating you'd rather run a card that has a completely different effect, is a completely different type of card, and has a completely different level, with the only thing you can compare is the Attribute and DEF score. Meanwhile, other people are comparing Power Tool Dragon, which is the same type of card (Synchro), same level (seven) and has a very similar effect (Equip searching).

Do you see how your statement is a non-sequitur by comparison?

Okay man. Enough of this. I won't make you spend your time anymore with this kind of bullcrap that doesn't lead us anywhere.

And I said it too, PTD is better. This is way too slow. If it was a 3000 ATK generic synchro with the same effect, would be 10x better.

Actually, you wouldn't rather summon Herald. Unlike Herald.dek, there's going to be an ordinary balance of monsters in a Vairon deck, and half the monsters are going to be Machine.

Oh by the way, I'm going to totally come in and troll you, CDDRodrigo.

Red Dragon Archfiend. Discuss.

>I'd rather summon Judgment Dragon.

wut

>They both have 3000 ATK.
