(You'll see what I'm talking about at regionals). I walked in and got some purple sleeves because my blue ones are breaking and I'm Purple Whatevers so yeah. I needed some cards for random decks so I paid for a guy's entry to get them. This was my deck: 1 Morphing Jar 1 Sangan 2 Needle Worm 3 Giant Rat 3 A/D Changer 1 Foolish Burial 1 Giant Trunade 1 Card Destruction 2 Magical Mallet 1 Monster Reborn (so i can win when my opponent has a full field) 1 A Feather of the Phoenix 2 Magical Stone Excavation 3 Book of Eclipse 3 Book of Taiyou 3 Book of Moon 3 The Shallow Grave 3 Upstart Goblin 3 Into the Void (I've decided UtR looks like $#!^) 3 Hand Destruction Side: 1 Burial from a Different Dimension (side it in every game 2 if you expect D.D. Crow because wins games. Besides, A/D changer shenanigans.) Friendly duel before the tourney Round 0 vs Kid with 60 card deck (2nd worst matchup for me D:) Game 1: I milled all but 2 of his cards but ran out of resources and then he had a field with a bunch of stuff summoned by The Shallow Grave and he played Polymerization to get an Ehero and attacked for game I got out my blue rag mat and set it on the table for round 1. I set down my deck and look at pairings. It was a 30 person tourney which is pretty large for here. Round 1 vs Morgan Player (little kid with Jurracs) Game 1: He got out a bunch of Jurracs and almost had 8000 but I got into Morphing Jar the next turn for gaem. Game 2: Got out Morphing Jar before he could do anything and started flipping it. Get out Needle Worm, proceed to win. Round went fast so I walk around and troll. 1-0 Round 2 vs Josh Fruge (friend of mine using my Glads) Game 1: Drew into Morphing Jar stuff fast and won. Game 2: Derp derp Gyzarus. It's no match for The Shallow Grave, though. 2-0 Round 3 vs MachinaTown Gadgets Game 1: Double Fortress + Gearframe + Limiter Removal + Gadget + Some other monster is no match for Giant Rat + Book of Eclipse Game 2: He sides in Enemy Controller and tributes Yellow Gadget to steal Morphing Jar. I was liek :S and continued flipping it to get out all my stuff. 3-0 Round 4 vs David Jensen (Quickdraw) Game 1: He knew I was playing Empty Jar. He drew f***ing god hand turn 1 and overextended into Quickdraw discard Dandy Summon Debris Dragon to get out Drill Warrior + Scrap Drag + 2 Fluff Tokens. Couldn't draw Morphing Jar. Set Rat and it got Scrap'd. Then he got out Tytannial or something and that was >8000. Game 2: I sided in BfaDD but it was no match for more random overextending. 3-1 I got in the top 8. Top 8 vs Lightsworn Game 1: He said thank you to the judge for getting paired with Empty Jar and I said thank you for getting paired with Lightsworn. I was about to get going when he JD'd for gaem Game 2: His LS mills helped me because he was at 16 cards before I had even started trying. Then I milled him out. Game 3: Got into Morphing Jar fast and milled him out, even with him Veiler'ing my Needle Worm. His hand included Monster Reincarnation which made me rofl because he would've won the next turn. 4-1 Top 4 vs Post-STOR Sams Seemed like an easy matchup tbh Game 1: He played Shinai, Mizuho, and Shien which I found to be questionable and cloggy. Morphing Jar defeated him easily. Game 2: Prohibition turn 1 declaring Morphing Jar then derp derp swarm is difficult to get around with only 1 Giant Trunade Game 3: Double Prohibition 4-2 Lesson of the day: Side MST.
