Anbu-of-Sand
I swear, sometimes Konami should just keep the OCG names for cards. What do they 'gain' from just abbreviating Tech Genus? Do they think it sounds cooler? It certainly does not. In my opinion that is. The Archetype that is, I don't know much about, is quite cool. Quite the fan of some of their Synchros.
lol Anyway I'm sure they are just emulating the Japanese way of naming their cards. We just don't have annotations above the letters. And holy crap getting these guys will be tough. So far all the revealed Synchros are Ultra Rare. Mysty
Meklords, say it properly. ;D
Actually, Meklord is the replacement for kikou (Machine Imperial). Tei is still being translated as Emperor, so the Machine Emperors are going to be Meklord Emperors. EDIT: I'm still going to call the kikou archetype by their Japanese names. Whether I'll call them Machine Emperors/Machine Imperials or Kikoutei/kikouhei/kikoushin I haven't figured out yet.
I swear, sometimes Konami should just keep the OCG names for cards. Then again, Tech Genus isn't a long archetype name, so I don't know. They should have kept the name Tech Genus. It would stop random n00bs from calling them "Tech Genius" cards. I like the Tech Genus cards. Too bad they'll probably mostly be really high rarities and almost impossible to get without spending a load of money.
When Yugioh was released Christian zealots were making comparisons to the occult so Konami made sure to never use the word black anywhere. Hence why we have Dark Magician instead of Black Magician. Thankfully, now Konami has enough bank to say, "f*** soccer moms." and we have Black Luster Soldier. Or maybe they thought it was racist? This is just conjecture on my part, but it makes sense to me.
