If he's smart, he just wants to know why Goyo was Banned when Brionac is still @1.

Because Brionac is the 24th signer dragon.

Anyways, the only shockers on the list was semi on Megamorph and the fact that pot of duality hasn't touched the list yet. Well, that and how scrap dragon isn't semi'd, but I don't think he being semi'd would make that much of a difference.

At any rate, the list makes since. I think Konami is going to eventually sway us into an equip-meta...could you imagine?

I'm fine with PoD as it is st 3. Oh, and you find a Semi Megamorph, an untouched Pot of Duality, Scrap Dragon for some reason not being Semi'd a big shocker, yet you weren't surprised at Book of Moon getting the big swing?

Not at all. I mean, just look at the community's outrage/shock at it. Obviously it was a broken card. It could stop anything a monster could do at absolutely no cost. Plus, with the new Exceed monsters coming, Book of the Moon would become even MORE stronger (assuming an Exceed monster loses overlaid cards).

And, honestly, this wouldn't be the first time Konami has limited a huge staple.

It has a cost, the card itself. Only you don't gain any real advantage, just a turn of stall. Hell, unlike other cards that give creature control, the monster is still on the field and if you want to attack you're going to need to attack over it.

Really, it is a solid card, but to call it broken make no sense. And just because it might weaken Exceeds doesn't mean it should be limited since bounce and spin cards hurt them A LOT more and we still have loads of those.

the main reason is NOT because of the Exceeds, but rather the amount of play it recieves. I'm thinking Konami wants to get championship decks more "nailed down" than stapled together.

Book of Moon - "I'm sorry, did you try and use the effect of any monster whatsoever, or attack me with any monster whatsoever, or are about to synchro summon, or are about to OTK, or are looping, or have an annoying monster I can't kill? Too bad. This is out now."

Is it @1 really going to effect the meta THAT much? I doubt it, Compulsion will just get ran more now.
