HaouJudai Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 That's exactly the problem - that reliance is slowing them down - they can fusion much faster and much more aggressively now - half the time with YOUR monsters - hero beat has been dependent on anti meta tech well now we are the meta - the deck needs to learn a new trick - fusion. Not as an addition to the deck but as a central strategy with only elements of beat left behind. but not hero blast - they need to search harder/faster and lay down blanket negation The dark deck argument is a valid one but we have half the omni heroes in TCG now - a hero deck should be able to compete with a completely dark deck - remember dark decks love to synchro for brionac who's a water type Samurai won YCS and last time I checked they are mostly earth. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 Well, there's more than 1 way to run Heroes, but the Stratos > Alius > Gemini Spark > Hero Blast > Miracle Fusion engine has been working wonders for people all over the world, and I don't see them trying to change it up anytime soon. Super Poly really isn't that overpowered, even if we had the DARK Omni Hero. You would need to flood your ED/Side Deck, and you have to discard a card for Miracle Fusion anyways. Opponents generally declare 7 against Fish. So, as long as you get something other than Seaking, you just got a "free" summon. [/quote] Hero Beat can REALLY abuse quick play cards now though - Forbidden Lance, Enemy Controller, Book of Moon (1 snicker ), Super Poly - so I say lay down some serious negation and push harder using fusion primarily. They are going to have to do this because of Honest going to 1. And they already have. Super Poly is main decked now but I am against the staple backfield - I say main deck negation instead and push with fusion spam. Recycle dead swarms with search power over draw power (bye POD!) Max out E Call and Rota. Move the deck out of the anti meta and into the meta category. Make it faster and much more aggressive. We have half of the omni heroes now. Time to go on the attack.
