It still can OTK. Maybe it cannot go Nexus by itself like Fishborg, but it can still do the old Coelacanth+2 LV8 or Coelacanth+Trishula/Wurm+Archfiend/Gungnir. Discuss this guy... The combo was to spam Super Ancient Fish's effect via Dulawren and Symbols of Duty to get out as many Synchros as possible. Eventually, it used to run Normal-monsters and therefore, was terribly inconsistent! Fishes earned a lot of popularity when we received Fishborg: it gave an easier access to the Colossal Arm OTK, making those Normal-monster unneeded and giving them a more consistent strategy! I think that the turning point was the release of Formula Syncron because the draw would make up for the discard for Fishborg's effect. That way you can summon 2 Colossal and 1 Armory (and 1 lv2, but unneeded) with Coelacanth.
