CDDRodrigo Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 And got a godly hand. Giant Trunade, Solemn Warning, Totem Dragon, Foolish Burial, Future Fusion, Monster Reborn. First turn was mine. Played FuFu, milled 3 REDMD and 2 Wyverns. Foolish Burial White Night Dragon, Monster Reborn REDMD, revive White Night. Set Warning, at End Phase remove both Wyverns to revive the remaining REDMDs. Granel's turn, it set a monster, played LLaB and a backrow. My turn, Trunade his S/Ts, Attack a Playful Possum, and 3 direct attacks for gaem. So easy. [/quote] I'd say thats a bit much. Definitley best Dragon (for a Dragon deck, Stardust is obv better than this), but anything can get rid of it. So fun to use, though, and awesome art. It also wins games [/quote] The anime version was pretty interesting, and contributed more to the Red-Eyes' theme. But with a summoning condition like that, it was just too ridiculous. AsterikcAde Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 Darkness Metal Dragon should at least be limited or semi-limited because it is just HAX when you face a Dragon Deck with him in it, he just basically gives you a free dragon and don't get me started on his summoning condition, I mean remove a dragon-type monster so ss him? Wow....a little broken don't you think? But the upside to this card is that IT DIES TO EVERYTHING, so its not that invincible...but still I think it should be at least semi-limited... [/quote] Q4E. In Dragon decks, this is basically a free easily summonable Call of the Haunted every turn with a 2800 ATK body. Not to mention it can be revived with Wyvern. The slow, conservative changes in the banlist prove that this won't be hit for a long time (perhaps even never) unless Dragons become Tier 1. Having 2 of this out means you get to drop 2 Dragon beatsticks per turn. Having it at 1 only gives you 1 free summon. It would also decrease the amount of immediate advantage from FuFu somewhat, as then you can't just do something like sending 3 Wyvern and 2 REDRUM, reviving 2 REDRUM at the End Phase. Dementuo Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 Pretty much the ace of my deck. Considering I run Disaster Dragons, it's a damn good one too. Ban worthy? Possible. Definitely possible. It can recycle dragons like there's no tomorrow, dragons have some of the biggest cards in the game, it's FuFu fodder, and has easy summoning conditions. Limit worthy? Ehh, I guess so. Having only one means I can't just go "summon, remove for REDMD, use effect to summon another weak dragon, remove that for another REDMD, keep trolling on the first turn, activate FuFu, dump Wyverns and stuff, grab Prime Material, troll some more..." And so on. So, I suppose it could be limited. Semi-Limit worthy? Oh hell yes. Never thought I'd say it, but this thing needs at least SOME restriction. [/quote] Since I'm thinking in terms of a good ban list the FuFu + FGD combo would be dealt with in some form removing it from the equation. And even with 1 in the FuFu combo you'll have out a 2800 + another +size beatstick before you even use up your normal summon and assuming a few point of damage that is normally enough for game. Yea, 2 more then insures while 1 does leave more outs for your opponent but I can't help but see it being overkill most of the time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
