Either player can pay 1000 Life Points to negate the Special Summon of a monster(s), and/or an effect that Special Summons a monster(s), and destroy those cards. If it was a Shinai, add something like a Kageki back to the hand. Proceed to Trollface.jpg by searching out Kagemusha. How is Shinai easy to Special Summon? Shien's Dojo.
