Ieyasu Tokugawa
Proxies not allowed unless it's replacing a card you have, but don't want to use for fear of damaging it. Don't be a douche/idiot.

Dr. Cakey
I've literally never been to a tournament, even locals. Why isn't selling cards permitted a lot of the time?
Ieyasu Tokugawa
I've literally never been to a tournament, even locals. Why isn't selling cards permitted a lot of the time?
Probably because the place is crowded, and it's easy to get lost in the crowd or just drop something. People can usually just go outside to do that anyway.
Solemn Silver
No trading, let alone selling, Everyone is good with sportsmanship, no proxys unless its for a fun duel... Yea the only great thing about my locals is what they have to offer and the people there....
Zauls
Our locals is great. Trading and selling are allowed to be done freely, there are really no rules except we don't normally allow proxies. The players a lot of the time decide to let someone/everyone use proxies. We always say no proxying Duality or Warning, though. They don't allow really over the top behavior of course, but they're pretty easy about what teh f*ck we get up to in that room. The only problem is that the guy there gets pretty mardy and always says "if you don't tidy up food containers/wrappers etc. then there will be no prize support next week". Nobody cares though since the prize is only a stupid Turbo Pack that nobody pulls anything out of anyway.
Catterjune
Haven't been to my locals in forever but IIRC... 1: OCG cards are allowed if they've been released for the masses in TCG land. 2: No trading No rules on sportsmanships. =\
