How would Tele-DAD compete with today's decks?

We all know how fast and deadly Tele-DAD in its prime was, but how would it match up against the decks of today? Would it be fast enough to compete with the likes of LSS?
I probably should've made a topic like this on DGz instead of here but whatever

Yes. It'd be Faster than LSS. Just... Never bring it back. Ever.

Think that was supposed to mean "for the purpose of their discussion, would a fully revived Tele-DAD deck be limited to cards available at its time of conquest, or does it have the full cardpool?"

I honestly have no idea how good Tele-DAD was. Just that it's infamous.

Ruin?
Tele-DAD was a pretty good format imo.

While I disagree, if E-Tele was unlimited, Tele-DAD wouldn't be the only deck to run it.

So yeah, every deck would be Tele-f***

Unlimited:

lol

You don't know much about the deck, do you?
The deck need 3 Malicious and at least 2 Destiny Draws to become top tier material.

By the end of the format, most teledads ran only 1 tele while others switched to ZombieDAD (a deck that was arguably superior).

I probably don't know much about the deck (I was leaving as it was at it's prime), but I was just speaking for E-Tele on it's own, rather than the deck at hand.

Really? I thought Perfect Circle back in '07-'08 was the most fun in terms of actual Top Tier Decks. I quit playing around the time of Tele-DaD's limitation, but I did play the Deck and it just wasn't my style, I suppose.

On-topic, Tele-DaD was fast, but in no way would it be able to compete with Decks like Fish and Six Samurai now. Even being fast, it required a few turns to set up, and I don't think it would be able to win within the first couple of turns, especially when you consider what you'd need to fix on the list to have the original Tele-DaD back, and factor that into the current Decks which could make use of those cards.

Everything you said there was wrong.

That's odd. During the Tele-DAD times I remember most duels lasting 1 or 2 turns at most. Also, Tele-DAD Decks having 1 DAD, 2 Stardusts, 2 Solemns, and 1 Crush Card before the next player could go.

Also, I remember that Tele-DAD Decks covered about 3/4 of the Deck lists at some tournaments. Where the remaining 1/4 or less was original Lightsworns, which were pretty broken by themselves, only not as good as Tele-DAD Decks.
^With that, I'm being pretty amazed here hearing it was a "good format" O_o
What am I missing?
