El Majishan
When they first popped up there was a lot of hype behind them, being called "Tier 1", "Sooo good", "broken" ect. But I have yet to see them have any actual effect on the meta. They never topped any big event ( as far as I know) and I mostly see them being played as a casual deck and not in any majorly competitive way. So whats the deal? Are they any good? Or was it just the hype behind a new arch type? Keep in mind I never play them personally and the few times I've played against them I won with out any real problem. I will say this though...they do seem interesting and fun to play...by my question again is are they any good? are they competitive if built and played right? tier position? Discuss. Azuh
They rely on a field spell that isn't Necrovalley Once that field spell is gone, its game over for them
El Majishan
But with Duality and Terraforming. Getting the field card out shouldn't be much of an issue. Are they considered at least tier 2, or are they lower?

[/quote] i've always found (with testing online) that Duality isn't that good in the deck imo, as it stops Special Summons for the turn

DARKPLANT RISING
Dux basically says "When this card is Normal Summoned, tribute it to Synchro Summon 1 LV 6 or 8 Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck". Yeah, and even that's Tier 2. Game is broke.

Expelsword
They are pretty easy to counter. And even when they aren't, the deck is so BORING.

Sleepy
-Dux is a Level 6 or 8 instant Synchro. -Legionary either destroys up to 2 cards upon being Summoned or becomes a Level 5 Synchro. -Laevatein can pop-up instead of any of the above. -Gae Burg can search pretty much anything from the Deck once per turn and the discard option comes afterwards. -They have Icarus Attack with them. -Corsesca lets you search too so they shouldn't be dependent on their Field Spell. -Field Spell searches pretty much everything too (already stated I guess) -One of their Level 1 Tuners lets them attack twice -Future Fusion likes them -Mystletainn is decent too. Hmmm.... they do seem to have potential. I guess they are too Dependent on their Normal Summoned Dux/Legionary. Fragile but fun.
