Phœnīcius Infīnius VII Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 If you have ever played any of the Yugioh World Championship games for DS from 09-11 you should know how to Turbo Duel. Me and a couple friends tryed this and it was kinda fun. Anyone ever try this? I mean you get a little excersie, more fun, and outdoors all from a simple little card game that you would normally sit back and throw down little cards. It's kinda dangerous if you're in the wrong place, and if it's raining or windy. So I reccomend you get some friends, some extra card board, scissors, duck tape, and all that good stuff and try it out. You might like it. Sleepy Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 The one aspect I liked about Turbo Duels (in the anime, I've never actually played those) is the balancing/limiting the use on Spell Cards. Although rather than making Spell Cards specifically for that game, making their own universal Field Spell Card for that, and keeping everything else the same, I would have preferred they could be played without the need of those new types of Spells specifically made for such game. It just seems like a tricky thing to achieve though, but if it would have been made that way, we would probably have a new way of playing. A new format if you will. Covering the hospital/mortgage fees that come as a result of this game will make it a rich man's game, and that wouldn't be too good. If you know how to ride a bike then you can do it. But also you want the other person to wipe out so they can't continue. Like in the anime. I started it when I was 12 and we never had a wipe out. Idea is debatable even without the "riding bike to play" factor. Putting those inconveniences aside, I suddenly feel like trying to create some kind of side-format in which the game plays differently. If possible, try to make it more balanced somehow. If that happens IRL, you die. Or at least, severely injure yourself. Also, you're trying to combine the terms "Card Game" and "Exercise".
