[/quote] Your opponent has a Monarch and no other field/hand, and you have don't have a spare 1/2 levels on the field to go into anything other than Black Rose. (Utopia/Pearl) Your opponent has Dark Highlander (or discord) out. (Utopia) You have Dark Highlander out. (Anything) Your opponent Gold Sarc'd E-Tele and will get it back next turn to start their loop. (Roach) Your opponent Lonefire'd into a Dandylion/Bulb/Spore in defense. (Merrowgeist) You have an unused Spore and a Lonefire in your grave, or a level 4 on the field, and your opponent is using a single attribute. (Disigma) Your opponent has Orient Dragon, and has no level 3 Debris targets in the grave. (Utopia/Pearl/Roach) Your opponent called your only non-level 4 target with Prohibition. (Anything) ^ I make no claims as to the likelihood of these situations occurring, but they're also not the only ones. Synchros may be the best choice most of the time, but somtimes being able to Xyz can get you out of situations your Synchro monsters can't. Wait that's bad. OT:I traded my common for a Cyber dragon, 3 DT Genex Ally Remotes(Before HA04), a DT R-Genex Overseer, and a DT Genex ally Triarm.
