Basically this card was an interesting tech for GBs, as it let them dodge this card's destruction effect, while also being annoying for the Opponent, as they would end up getting his/her monsters destroyed if they tried to fight back(Battle Phase, of course). Skystarray needs to attack directly by its effect, and if your opponent's monsters die due to this card, it's probably not attacking directly and thus will die by Forest instead of being banished.
