How would this chain resolve?

Well chains resolve backwards, so Solemn Negates Moon, which negates flipping over (your opponent's?)LaDD, don't know what Pole Positon does (not a card fanatic), but then Book flips over (your?) LaDD, but it wouldn't matter because Dark Hole destroys all monsters on the field, and because Skill Drain was out, LaDD can't activate it's effect to negate, therefore, the chain stops there.

Doom Cal is also mandatory.

Good point.

Then it should be along the lines of:

Solemn negates Book.

Skill Drain activates.

Pole Position activates.

Book gets negated by Pole Position.

LaDD negates Doom Caliber.

The other Doom Caliber negates LaDD

LaDD gets saved from Dark Hole by Pole Position.

I think?

End Result is that Dark Hole is negated.

Don't think so. I think it's effect still resolves. I'm not a card fanatic like the rest of YCM TCG, so I don't know what Pole Position does. It could change the entire way the chain is set-up in my mind.

Ok, got it.

Solemn negates book.

Book is negated.

Skill Drain goes through

Pole Position goes through, now protecting LADDs

Book attempts on LADD, but is stopped by Pole Position

LADD goes through due to Poll Position being active, protecting it from Skill Drain

LADD negates Doomcal

Doomcal attempts to negate LADD #2. Since Pole Position is still active, I believe it will protect the monster that now has highest ATK from Doomcal.

LADD negates Dark Hole.

That's not how it goes.

Link 1: Dark Hole

Link 2: Turn Player mandatory effect LADD, responds to Dark Hole

Link 3: Opponent mandatotry effect LADD, responds to Dark Hole (this is how LADD is ruled to work)

Link 4: Turn Player mandatory effect Doomcaliber Knight, responds to Link 3 LADD. (This is because the LADDs must activate in response to Dark Hole, forcing Doomcaliber to activate at the immediate next available link, to the last Effect Monster activated in the current chain)

Link 5: Opponent mandatory effect Doomcaliber, responds to Link 3 LADD (Like LADD, both Doomcalibers activate to the same effect)

Link 6: Book of Moon, targeting Link 3 LADD

Link 7: Pole Position

Link 8: Skill Drain

Link 9: Book of Moon, targeting Link 2 LADD

Link 10: Solemn Judgment

Resolving backwards:

Link 10: Solemn Judgment negates Book of Moon and destroys it.

Link 9: Book is negated. Does not resolve.

Link 8: Skill Drain is active. LADDs regain their ATK and Venus' effect is negated.

Link 7: Pole Position is active. All monsters on field have the highest ATK. They are all immune to Spells.

Link 6: Book of Moon's target is immune to Spells. Nothing happens.

Link 5: Doomcaliber Knight negates Link 3 LADD and destroys it.

Link 4: Doomcaliber Knight does nothing, as the effect is already negated.

Link 3: LADD is negated. Does not resolve.

Link 2: LADD's effect is negated by Skill Drain. Nothing happens.

Link 1: Dark Hole resolves and destroys all monsters. All monsters on field are immune to Spells due to Pole Position. Nothing happens.

LADD in Graveyard activates and nukes field and SSes.

I think Pole Position only protects from Spells so, LaDD is not protected from Skill Drain and Doomcal still affects LaDD... I think...

How the hell did you figure that out? Except I think the bold part is wrong. LaDD's effect would stop it, not Pole Position, right?

Ha! I was right. But still, that is one of the most grueling mental excersises that I have ever seen.

Since i was in the silly game answering the question~

Chain Link #1: Dark Hole

Chain Link #2: Turn Player's LaDD (negating Dark Hole)

Chain Link #3: Opponent's LaDD (negating Dark Hole)

Chain Link #4: Turn Player's Doomcaliber Knight (negating Opponent's LaDD)

Chain Link #5: Opponent's Doomcaliber Knight (negating Opponent's LaDD).

Chain Link #6: Mystical Space Typhoon (Targeting face-down Book of Moon)

Chain Link #7: Turn Player's Book of Moon (targeting Turn Player's LaDD i believe)

Chain Link #8: Pole Position

Chain Link #9: Skill Drain

Chain Link #10: Opponent's Book of Moon (targeting Turn Player's LaDD)

Chain Link #11: Solemn Judgment (negating Opponent's Book of Moon).

Resolving...

Chain Link #11: Solemn Judgment negates Book of Moon

Chain Link #10: Opponent's Book of Moon is negated.

Chain Link #9: Skill Drain is applied. LaDD's revert back to 2800 ATK. Venus' effect is no longer applied.

Chain Link #8: Pole Position is applied. As all monsters have 2800 ATK, all are currently protected by Pole Position.

Chain Link #7: Turn Player's Book of Moon cannot be applied due to Pole Position. Its effects fail to resolve.

Chain Link #6: Turn Player's Book of Moon is destroyed by Opponent's MST.

Chain Link #5: Does absolutely nothing.

Chain Link #4: Turn Player's Doomcaliber Knight negates and destroys Opponent's LaDD

Chain Link #3: Opponent's LaDD was negated (even if it wasn't, it wouldn't have done anything).

Chain Link #2: Turn Player's LaDD is negated by Skill Drain and cannot be applied.

Chain Link #1: Dark Hole cannot destroy either Venus or LaDD due to Pole Position protecting them from Spells.

That is awesome. I was actually waiting to see your response xD

I don't quite understand how Doomcal and LaDD are all protected with the ATK difference I see, and I'll look up that part about both Doomcal going after the same chainlink effect.

EDIT:

wait, scratch what I said, I got it.

I didn't see the image before posting.. just the chain.

Well, I saw the chain, and I saw darkwolf resolve it then, too (really just confirming that I understood it).

Doomcaliber Tributes itself as a cost. They leave.

Here's a little added ruling info on Doomcaliber.

-If an Effect Monster's effect is activated while multiple "Doomcaliber Knights" are face-up on the field, they all activate and are Tributed. Their effects are chained following the rules for simultaneous effects. Only the last "Doomcaliber Knight" to resolve (actually this is an error, the word should be "activate") will be applied, and the effects of the other "Doomcaliber Knights" disappear.

-When multiple Effect Monster effects activate simultaneously, "Doomcaliber Knight's" effect is chained after determining the order of the Effect Monster effects and will negate the Effect Monster’s effect that was placed last on the Chain
