A Fusion monster? That's a vanilla beatstick?

That sucks so much. Ok it might have some use competitively, but it is just so dull. I wanted a Gemknight Xyz, and one with an effect this time.

But given what a s*** gemstone a Zirconia is, it stands to reason that the Gemknight therefore had to be s*** to match.

Cubic Zirconia, i.e. fake diamond.

Kinda suits it, you think?

Anyway, basically Essedarii, but more ATK/fractionally harder to get out.

Fun overall, really. Plus, there's Daigusto Emeral to abuse it with.

Just spent a few minutes on youtube looking for that Simpsons episode with the cat burgular, who steals 'the worlds largest cubic zirconia' from the Springfield Museum.

Couldn't find a clip, but Moe's reaction upon recovery of said stolen gem:
What an eyesore.
Which are my sentiments exactly.

Plus new Eviritua monster isn't Xyz either. That irritates me a little, although a lot less considering my Ritua deck for next fanfic already has three decent Xyz monsters attached to it plus the Rituals. Gemknights on the other hand...

Although an Xyz monster would have been nice (especially for your next fiction :D), a Normal Fusion monster is actually a really great attempt from Konami to make the game more control-based, rather than swarm-based. It generally fleshes out matches more, which is why I personally love this card.

I don't think Gishkis/Rituas will come up with an Xyz anytime soon, other than Merrowgeist.

Personally, GK aren't my favorite DT Archetype because they rely on Fusions. But I will admit that when you get past that weakness, they can be very awesome. Like how Amethys is a walking Trunade.

Maybe the Omni-Knights are better than the other, specific monsters, like how Aquamarine and Ruby are.

Ah yes, I forgot you were a silent reader of my fic.

Check out status bar for my update.

I have to take your word for it on that because I admit I rarely duel, but if it does have that effect then fine. I personally love longer, more even, to and fro matches and am all for cards that promote that and offer something different.

It's just this card doesn't excite me like Lavalval Chain or the above mentioned Daigusto Emeral (just seen that's effect by the way, presumably a nod to some DT storyline involving Laval, Ritua, Gusto and Gemknights banding together once more).

I've never been the reviewy type, sorry for that ;-;

I do admit that it's probably the least interesting out of the new cards, but fun still.

How is that a weakness?
