^ that was unfunny and rude.

But it's the truth :(
Brain Control is slightly more balanced than this, and even that wouldn't create a good discussion.

Too much freedom. Too little cost.
Temporal +1 that isn't temporal if you have Extra Deck.

For Bakura... "Change of Heart" = "Change of Sex". XD

OT: too OP'd even in the early video games like Dark Duel Stories.

Which is not to say that Control-Shift cards aren't greatly abused these days, either, but like what was said earlier, this card having no cost = stay the f*** banned.

....PoG is broke yet how many peeps bitched about it in its topic?
You know why people didn't b**** about this in Pot of Greeds topic? Because they were discussing Pot of Greed, not this.

I think you misinterpreted his statement. He was asking why people don't b**** about PoG brokenness in any PoG topic.

Change of Heart is a free +0 that can lead to an Synchro or Xyz, or even use the monster as a beater. It takes a monster from the foe and hence can also somewhat count as removal if you use it to Synch/Xyz. It provides not only a completely retarded advantage to the player going second if it's his or her first turn, it also provides free tribute fodder. Being completely free does not help it's case at all.

This won't be coming back, unlike some cards who might be able to come back at 1 for a format to see how it goes. Cards are banned for a reason, and this will pretty much stay forever banned. Shouldn't come back.

Welp, yeah. Now that I re-read it, it should be obvious. Sure, there was no bitching, but since I actually read the thread, there were people saying how it's broken and should never come back.

It'd be nice if people recognised that it was actually a +0.

Otherwise, everything's been said, it's broken. Forever banned.

I'll have to differ:
You loose the Spell (-1)
Your opponent looses a monster (+0)
Said monster goes to your side rather than what happens with regular one for one +0 removal.
If you give the monster back, it's ultimately a -1, If you used the monster for an Extra Deck monster, this card stays as a +1

or why do you say it's a +0?

Depends entirely of how you interpret taking control of a monster.

Moving a card from one side of the board to another, if we were to say that happened by itself, is a +2 to the player who gained control of said card.

I realise, I also realised that said interpretation was better than mine and have adopted such myself, I just didn't say so.

Let's see...

1) No cost
2) No restrictions on target
3) Target can be face-up or face-down
4) Controlled monster can attack or be Tributed.

Especially with Synchros and Xyz, this is just wrong.
Above everything, this.

In an age in which all you could do was attack, this was only a single sigh of relief. Now it's blatantly unfair.
