[spoiler=Final Match Coverage]

It's finally here! After 19 days and more than 25 participants, the first YCM Legends Tournament has reached its climax: The final match pitting fan favorite Olly Problem and his Tengu Synchro Deck against the deadly strength of Brandon Geren and his Scrap Deck!

Who will win this dramatic match and be crowned the YCM Legends Champion! For those who miraculously dodged the spoilers posted everywhere, you're about to find out!

As Olly emerges triumphant in the warm-up of Rock, Paper, Scissors, he gleefully notes he has never lost a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors in this tournament. He chooses to go first, as expected.

Olly begins by playing Thunder King Rai-Oh and setting a card.

Brandon activates Heavy Storm, and the powerful Spell rids the field of Olly's Book of Moon. Brandon then plays his own Thunder King Rai-Oh, and a backrow.

Olly Sets a monster.

Brandon Normal Summons Scrap Chimera, sets a backrow, and attacks Olly's Set Spirit Reaper with Chimera. With Reaper unable to be destroyed in battle, Brandon ends his turn.

Olly Sets another monster. So far, he's been a passive player, but with so many cards available to both players, this could explode at any moment.

Brandon attacks Rai-Oh with his Chimera, and then flips Horn of the Phantom Beast, equipping it to Chimera and giving it an extra 800 ATK, destroying Rai-Oh in battle and allowing him to draw a card! His own Rai-Oh then attacks the facedown Spore and destroys that.

Olly passes!

Brandon also passes! Apparently he had no options to clear away Spirit Reaper yet, but there may be something looming on the horizon.

Olly Sets a backrow.

Brandon activates Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying Olly's Torrential Tribute.

Olly passes again!

Brandon Sets a backrow. With both players so passive, this is making out to be a tense, but slow, game.

As Olly draws, Brandon flips Trap Dustshoot! Olly's hand consists of Reborn Tengu, Effect Veiler, 2 copies of Maxx "C", Tour Guide From the Underworld, One For One, and Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. Brandon returns Olly's Effect Veiler, and Olly Normal Summons Tour Guide From the Underworld, activating its effect to Special Summon another one from the Deck. He Overlays both Tour Guides for Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, but Brandon negates the Summon with his Rai-Oh! Olly then banishes Tour Guide and Rai-Oh from his Graveyard to Special Summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. He activates its effect to try to banish Scrap Chimera, but Brandon flips Torrential Tribute, destroying all monsters before the effect resolves.

Brandon Sets 2 to the backrow.

Olly Normal Summons Reborn Tengu, and attacks directly, but Brandon flips Scapegoat, defending himself with 4 Sheep Tokens, one of which is destroyed by Tengu.

Brandon activates Scrapyard, searching out Scrap Beast, and Normal Summons it. He Synchs with one Sheep Token for Naturia Beast! Beast attacks Tengu, and Olly brings out another copy from his Deck. He sets a backrow before ending.

Tengu destroys another Token, and Olly sets a monster and a backrow. Brandon uses Mystical Space Typhoon during the End Phase and destroys Trap Dustshoot.

Brandon Normal Summons Scrap Chimera, and activates its effect. Olly discards Maxx "C" in response, so when Scrap Beast is Summoned, he draws 1 card. Naturia Beast kills Tengu, and Olly reveals he cannot Special Summon a third. Scrap Chimera attacks the Set monster, which turns out to be the third Reborn Tengu. Scrap Beast attacks directly. In Main Phase 2, Brandon sets a backrow.

Olly scoops. Brandon's powerful offense and Spell lockdown assured that Olly was hardpressed to turn the match around! He will again be going first in the second game!

Game 2

Like in game one, Olly opens with Thunder King Rai-Oh and a backrow.

Brandon starts with Mind Control, taking control of Rai-Oh, and Normal Summons Reborn Tengu. He Overlays both monsters for Number 39: Utopia, and attacks directly, but Olly counters with Scapegoat, shielding himself with 4 Sheep Tokens, one of which takes the blow.

Olly Normal Summons Tour Guide From the Underworld, and Special Summons Sangan. He sets another backrow.

Brandon activates Pot of Duality, revealing another Pot of Duality, Scrap Beast, and Mystical Space Typhoon. He chooses MST and activates it, but Olly chains Enemy Controller, Tributing his Sangan to take control of Utopia for the Turn. Sangan's effect searches Lonefire Blossom. Brandon Normal Summons Thunder King Rai-Oh, and ends his turn, regaining control of his Number 39 during the End Phase.

Olly Normal Summons Lonefire Blossom and activates its effect, Special Summoning Spore from his Deck. He Synchs Spore and a Sheep Token for Formula Synchron. Brandon allows it, and Olly draws a card. He then activates Mind Control, taking control of Rai-Oh. He Synchs Rai-Oh, Formula, and Tour Guide to Synchro Summon Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier! Trishula's effect banishes Utopia from the Field, Rai-Oh from the Graveyard, and Scrapstorm from the hand. It then attacks directly! Brandon Special Summons Tragoedia, and Olly Sets a backrow.

(Brandon LP: 5300)

Brandon Normal Summons Effect Veiler, and activates Tragoedia's Effect to become Level 4. He Synchs both monsters for Ally of Justice - Catastor, but Olly negates the Summon with Solemn Judgment!

(Olly LP: 4000)

Olly banishes Lonefire from his Graveyard to Special Summon his Spore as a Level 4 monster. He Synchs it with one of his remaining Tokens for his own Ally of Justice - Catastor, and both monsters attack directly!

(Brandon LP: 400)

But Olly has one more trick! He Tributes his Catastor for Caius, the Shadow Monarch, and targets Caius itself with its effect, banishing it, and because Caius is a DARK Attribute monster, inflicting 1000 damage to Brandon for game!

This time Olly's plays force Brandon into a corner with no hope of fighting back! Brandon will be going first in the climactic 3rd game, with the Championship title on the line!

Game 3

Brandon continues this match's tradition of Normal Summoning Thunder King Rai-Oh and Setting a single backrow!

Olly activates Heavy Storm, blowing away Brandon's Solemn Warning. He Special Summons Cyber Dragon, but Brandon uses Rai-Oh to negate it. Olly Normal Summons Spirit Reaper, and attacks directly. Reaper's effect cleaves away the Reborn Tengu in Brandon's hand. Olly sets a backrow.

(Brandon LP: 7700)

Brandon activates Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying Bottomless Trap Hole. He then activates Pot of Duality, revealing two copies of Scrapyard, and Scrap Chimera. He chooses a Scrapyard and activates it to search for, and then Normal Summon, Scrap Beast. He then activates Mind Control, forcing Reaper to self-destruct when targeted. Scrap Beast attacks directly.

(Olly LP: 6400)

Olly Normal Summons Reborn Tengu and attacks Beast.

(Brandon LP: 7600)

Brandon Sets a backrow.

Tengu attacks directly.

(Brandon LP: 5900)

Brandon activates Pot of Duality, revealing two copies of Scrapstorm and a Solemn Warning. He chooses Scrapstorm and ends.

Tengu attacks directly again.

(Brandon LP: 4200)

Brandon passes! It seems that he just can't regain his footing in this game.

Olly Normal Summons Debris Dragon, but Brandon chains with D.D. Crow, banishing Spirit Reaper from the Graveyard. Olly activates Monster Reborn, and Brandon chains Maxx "C", so when Olly revives Thunder King Rai-Oh, he draws 1. Olly attacks directly with Debris Dragon and then Tengu, and Brandon drops Tragoedia to defend against Rai-Oh's attack, saving himself for a turn! Olly Overlays Reborn Tengu and Debris Dragon to Xyz Summon Steelswarm Roach.

(Brandon LP: 1500)

Brandon surrenders! His hand is Scrapstorm, Scrap Chimera, and Torrential Tribute, his Set card is Debunk, and Olly has Solemn Judgment Set. There was nothing left he could do, and Olly wins the game and the Match to become the YCM Legends Champion!

Congratulations, Olly Problem!
