.Nu-13
every deck should run veiler. its chaos food and stops your opponent's plays. This does to a specific extent, but I'd rather make SURE it stops their big plays. The extra cards from this really help, but Veiler goes in pretty much anything. This does too, but Veiler is generally the safer option.
...no. "Chaos food" is not a good reason, so should I play Skull Meister anywhere because it's Chaos food? At this, any good player will stop their play. And if not...well, enjoy your massive pluses. Maxx "C" always puts the game in your favor.

It's rather hilarious for them to do lots of Synchroing and Xyzing and then falling into a D-Prison or Solemn. Veiler prevents them just fine, but puts you at -. .Rai
I've actually never known whether you could chain this to a Summon or not. But anyway, still amazing. Better than Veiler this format, end of. Chaos food is less important now. Good decks aren't dependent on using a Veiler just so you can topdeck a Limited card. Maxx "C" is more skilled, it encourages player-player interaction a little more than Veiler. And in a healthy way too. AND IT'S A DAMN INSECT. INSTANT DOOM DOZER FOOD FTW. byak
@people arguing over veiler or maxx c - the optimal ratios are 3-1 and 2-2 post ORCS, you're supposed to play both. I wouldn't play most decks without veiler anyway, at the least just a single copy. definitely a minimum of two Maxx "C" though
evilfusion
Honestly, I never liked Maxx "C". I've seen it used before against me and others plenty of times and know it's good, but it never realy works out well when I use it. I do prefer Veiler most of the time, but I'm also a person who devotes more deck slots to a Trap lineup than most people, so I usually dont have as much space for cards that, as far as I can tell, will not stop my opponent from winning if they only need to SS once or twice and can push for game afterwards.
I've actually never known whether you could chain this to a Summon or not.
If an SS does not start a chain (Cyber Dragon, etc), you can't chain Maxx "C". But you can chain Maxx "C" to an EFFECT that Special Summons, like Tour Guide, Monster Reborn, Rescue Rabbit, etc.
Makes Black Garden cry.
If they drop it on your turn you can simply: 1) Stop after the first summon so their CA isn't as big. 2) Use BG to win that turn...XD If they Drop in on their turn: WTH are you doing with BG on the field during Opponent's Turn
