Orichalcum Chain (Anime)

Orichalcum Chain
Continuous Spell
After this card is activated, if you Xyz Summon (The next Xyz Summon after activation), you can reduce the number of Xyz Materials needed by 1 for that Xyz Summon. When this card is destroyed, your opponent gains control of that Xyz Monster. If that Xyz Monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

Interesting to say the least. I wonder if this could make a monster with 2 materials take just 1.

The downside isn't even that big a deal if used on a now 1 material monster since your opponent is getting a moderate beatstick with no effect (provided you use the material right away as you should) in most cases. Lavalval Chain and Daigusto Emeral become god tier with this. Levair gets even better.

Hopefully this is in Galactic Overlord in some form, I like the concept of it a lot.

If I read that effect correctly, you can stack copies of this card.

TBH, they should release this IRL. It's an interesting card and would make for great plays.

Oh god just imagine an Xyz needing no Xyz Material at all. Acid Golem SS'd with no monsters needed at all.

Special Summon Cyber Dragon -> Play this -> Go crazy with Volcasaurus and still have a Normal Summon.
.....
Nice.

Tribute that Volca for another Lv5 and go Volca again for extra lulz. Then maybe activate Xyz Reborn and bring back Volca with a Material, use that, then go into GEPD.

So situational.

Orichalcos =/= Orichalcum

It's another form of naming the same type of metal/ore. The Atlantean origin of it remains the same regardless of how one spells it.

Orichalcos = Orichalcum. Look it up sometime.

In Yugioh they were 2 different things...with similarities in their properties but different in application and namewise...for some reason
