You could force the Opponent into using their Laggia on this card, or else they end up with a useless Laggia. Or, you know, make Utopia easier to remove during the Battle Phase. Seriously, have you seen how many cards in his deck either support or are anti-support for Xyz? Even when Astral used the Deck, both when possessed by Number 96 and when not, a whole bunch of cards were in some way related to Xyz. This tendency greatly increased after episode 16, so the only explanation: That secret dojo deck is all anti-Xyz cards and Yamikawa was being trolled by his master.
