Shradow
Maybe I'm finally smart enough to give Fire Emblem a whirl. My reaction to Radiant Dawn was "hey this is cool. <insert chapter two here> Argh, thinking! My only weakness! *quits*" but... On an unrelated note insert joke about how Marriage System equals dating sim here.
Did you play Path of Radiance before Radiant Dawn?
Dawn is definitely the hardest FE game out there. It was even too hard for me, and I am able to beat Path of Radiance very easily. You should be fine. Blake
Dawn had the best gameplay, but... Dear God that story was horrendous and reminded me of a bad self-insert fanfic @-@ PoR, however, had the best Story out of any of the ones I've played, plus the best support convos. Sacred Stones comes close to bed in every area, but the short playtime was just... Murder to it. Sad because it had the most amazing characters and gimmicks. I personally love 7 best simply because it's where I started, and Shadow Dragon was just kinda... Really meh, even considering how it was a remake. Hopefully this is amazing in all areas. Shradow
Radiant Dawn doesn't have it in the Hard difficulty, and the Japanese version didn't have it at all. If you want to try Path of Radiance in a way even easier than normal, go Ike solo. It's much easier having to only deal with one character who curbstomps everyone. Phantom Roxas

Shradow
I told you the guy in the mask was Marth. If you watch the tralier they're wearing the exact same clothing. Also, said dlc is free from the games release (April 19th in Japan) to May 31st, afterwards having to be bought. So if you're quick you don't have to pay anymore money. I'm guessing the same thing will happen (just with different dates) when this game is released in other countries. I say when because I highty doubt Nintendo wouldn't release this abroad. Blake
... So many classes with weapons AND magic, plus apparent Promotion choices seen in the Grandmaster and Sage, Paladin and Great Knight, Gryphoknight, etc. Is this Sacred Stones done right? o.o (null)
Shradow
Ooh, so many classes. I doubt it will happen, but I'm wondering if some names will get changed, such as Sword Fighter > Myrmidon and Dragon Knight > Wyvern Knight. The laguz-like classes look sweet. I love how the Hero still wears the pot helmet. Assassin w/ bow? Interesting. Battle Sister looks badass.
Archbaron Larry
The assassin with bows does seem to interest me. And I'm happy that they're making a unit with swords and magic. That's going to be awesome. Also, am I the only one that thinks that they are going to bit too overboard with all the different magic users and healers? O.o

It kinda makes sense, considering bows are used to pick off people, anyways. And the Magic/Weapon units are intriguing... Especially tactician. Shradow
Well, there have always been classes with weapons and magic. Valkyrie (well, only Mist), Sages, Mage Knights... I'm sure there's more. You can never have too many medics and mages. I mean, in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, Soren tended to be the only truly good Mage.

Shradow
Sorry for the necrobump, but I just found out some stuff that not everyone may know. (Not sure how old it is, so I may just be late to the party and be necroing this for no reason...) Aside from the DLC mentioned earlier, Kakusei/Awakening will have all sorts of DLC, consisting of maps, episodes, and characters from previous games. Such characters include (the list I saw had many more):

An interesting thing about Ike: In Kakusei/Awakening, a blue-haired character named Paris (Ike was planned on being named Paris early on in PoR) claims to be a descendant of the "Hero of the Blue Flames", and he possesses Ragnell. Chrom, the main character of the game, explains that the "Hero of the Blue Flames" was a legendary hero who traveled from another world. So that suggests after RD, Ike traveled to whatever land this game is in, and that Paris is his descendant. Also, I can't help but noticed his right arm is a sword...
