Sleepy Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 That Secret Rare Retro Pack version is too damn hard to get. I want it for collection purposes only. In truth it's not worth the trouble. It needs Main Deck space. It needs a specific Fusion that requires 3 copies of the same card, and Fusions need some type of Deck dedication themselves. Then, once it's out, it is 300 ATK weaker than the Fusion Tributed for it unless you have dumped at least some other Dragon(s), and 1300 DEF weaker too (so it's either slow, or weaker than it's sacrifice). Not to mention that it's a nomi, so it can't ever come back unless you go through the trouble of properly Summoning it again. You are better off trying the De-Fusion combo on Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon than trying to Summon this thing. There is also that, for 600 less ATK only, you have the Red-Eyes version of this card a lot easier to bring out, which by the way, is not that great either. It was fun back when 5000 ATK wasn't as reachable...... Finally, an incorporated Lord of D. is not enough justification for this. They should have: -Made it a semi-nomi. -Given it at least the +500 that Dark Paladin already gains. -Let the "Tribute to destroy 1 card" effect (AKA Shinning Nova) in there. ^those would make it a fun card but not really anything beyond that. EDIT: Oh almost forgot, Speaking TCG, it was out years before we actually got the monster needed to Summon it. The one good thing is, the pic awesome. BTW, for some reason, your name prior to Saikano doesn't show in the name history. I've been around, just for very small periods of time each day. Back in the day, I always waited for Kaiba to Summon this in the show. Yugi used Watapon again multiple times aftar all. I must be getting old xD Let's see... Phantom of Chaos > no Prisma > Maybe to somewhat facilitate Ultimate Dragon... but not really what I'd be looking for. Fusion replacements > no You are right... there's practically no legit support for this. I guess Summoner of Illusions, if you used Book of Taiyou or if your opponent somehow didn't attack it during their turn. Which is not a safe way at all. Needs to be astonishingly easy to Summon for that. It's an ok beatstick with an [s]incredibly hard[/s] unreliable Summon Condition that makes it not worth it. Even then, at the end it's just a beatstick. They either give it god-like effects, or make easier to bring out. Though that can be said of many many other cards so....
